we always have a big pre-Christmas roast dinner  a few weeks before, just to get us nice and in the mood, and it's always prompted by Thanksgiving hehe

I'm sorry @Ryrin but glad you had all those moments with him

I am floof-sitting for a relative is away, and I am thankful for the head buts and general lovelyness of floofs

I made baked salmon today with a brown sugar and dijon mustard sauce on it.

 

But for Thanksgiving day I love just loading up my plate with mashed potatoes, turkey, green bean casserole, cranberry sauce, and gravy and mixing it all up on my plate and eating it up using a roll or two or three to scoop it all up and clean the plate with and then enjoying the sweet potato casserole and pies afterwards.  I make sandwiches with all the leftovers the same way, by putting a little bit of each dish on a couple of slices of bread.  Best leftover meal. 

*looks at the banana bread and chocolate brownies in the freezer* don't know what you mean lol

I have sweet potato fries quite a lot, but not in mashed form - going to have to change that soon!

that sounds interesting - are they something that you eat like popcorn, or is it more like in a sugar syrup?

This is a really small thing, but I have this jacket that is quite think and really warm, it's soft and fuzzy on the inside. It's not waterproof but it's perfect for reading in bed when it's a little cold, and I am very thankful to be warm and cosy.

Another year has passed, with some easy spots and some harder for everyone I'm sure. But let's take a moment and share the things, large or small, that makes us thankful.

At the moment I am assuming a midnight drop, so I will be having a nap in the evening, then watching them straight, with lots of snacks. My husband will probably join me - he's not a reader of the books, but has had endless patience listening to me ramble about this almost non-stop since the teaser dropped. Then I will sleep, and then I will get up and watch them again, and the xray features, and try and take it all in (because I booked the day off work!)

oooh perfect, thank you. I've got some biscuits round here somewhere as well

and off they go to watch it!
