  2. Finishing up the second bowl, Michelle felt her stomach growl.  Light, this was unbelievable.  She was more often than not a light eater, yet here she was, gorging herself.  She could already feel the weight adding on.  "One was enough for me.  Though I might just go see about getting something to take along with us.  You might be like this for another couple hours or so."   A couple HOURS?  Oh Light, this wasn’t good… but she couldn’t keep herself from grabbing at the third bowl and dug in as Arath left her for a moment.

It gave her a chance to think.  She would be spending the day with Arath, somewhere far away and exotic.  She would be trying on dresses… for him?  Would he want to watch or… she continued to dig into the food, trying to concentrate more on the meal than the day ahead of her.  Would he want to go to some fancy dinner?  What was he expecting for his kindness?  Would something happen on their day?  Scenarios ran through her mind, and she smiled as he came back to the table.  Light, now she was nervous.

"Are you ready to go, or do you want some more?"  Michelle nodded her head slowly, a little excited but still anxious for what was to come.  "Alright then.  Let’s go borrow some suitable horses from the stables.  We better get going before the weather turns on us."  They rose from the table and she noted the package of food that he had… Oh light, no, she couldn’t be hungry again!

But as he took her hand as he led her towards the stables, her mind left thoughts of food and instead began to think of the evening they could have.  She could see it in her mind… The two of them, bent over candlelight, a wonderful dinner and wine between them, his hand holding hers, and bending in for a kiss and- TAI JOINING THEM?

There he was, standing at the stables, and Michelle couldn’t help but groan.  This could not be happening.  He would not spoil their day together.  "Ready for an exciting shopping trip Tai?"  Oh god, and any dress she tried on for Arath, Tai would see as well.  This was terrible.  It couldn’t get much worse. "Go pick a horse," Arath said, nudging her towards the Stable.  She nodded, trying to think more on the horses than on the oaf that was ruining her perfect day.

It took only a few minutes to find a beautiful black and white mare.  Going forward tenderly, Michelle found her to be a sweet and gentle horse.  A stable hand ran forward, and Michelle asked if this belonged to anyone.  The stablehand said no, and Michelle asked to borrow her for the day.  With a glance towards Arath, the stable hand nodded, and went to get the horse ready.  Michelle stood beside the beautiful beast, brushing back her long thick mane and checking to make sure the hand did it all right.

As soon as he was done, Michelle pulled her own way up onto the horse and rode out of the stable to see Tai and Arath talking.  “Ready to go boys?” she asked, smiling down at them from her throne on a saddle.

  3. This is sorry to everyone that writes with me.  STUPID DM wouldn't let me get on... I couldnt access the main page.  Not on my phone, on my work comp, on my home comp, or even a friend's comp.  Been blocked for about a week and a half, but I could access it this morning!

Anyways, back to posting, sorry again guys.

  4. So, the Campfire RP died down, and no clue what is going on the the BT RP, so time for us to postify again!

However, I currently have no ideas on what we could do that would include everyone (and currently isnt waiting approval).

So, any ideas?  I just don't want Shaylor to get any dust on her.

  5. As Aria sat down before the food, Michelle could see the tears ready to spill.  Light, what was this woman, a wet rag being squeezed dry?  A groan came from the woman's lips, and Michelle stepped back, half insulted.  No one said no to her food, even when life was bad!  But the look in the woman's face as she looked up was enough to make even Michelle feel bad, and she sank into the chair beside Aria.

"Michelle, I am sorry I lied. You must understand, I was in a strange place around strange people. I did not know who I could trust." Michelle nodded, understanding.  When she had first arrived in Caemlyn, she was simply Michelle and nothing else.  Well, at least Aria had found a place that wouldn't hurt her... Well, they would, but it was her own Light-Blasted fault if she got in the way of the men.

"Why are men so impossible?" Aria asked, which made Michelle want to laugh.  If men were not impossible, then what would women have to do all day except watch men serve them?  It had to be fun at first, but dealing with men was half the fun!

"What do you see in the big oaf anyway?"  He was such an idiot.  Honestly, even if Michelle knew nothing else, she kenw that this big dumb woolhead had left behind a woman that seemed to love him more than anything.  Other men had brought along their significant others, so why hadn't Tai done the same?

"He is very kind," Aria said, laughing.  Tai, kind?  He had tried to kill her! "I don't think he could hurt a fly. One time there was this old man in the street and-  Why don't you like him michelle?"

As the question came to Michelle, she had to laugh a little.  This was hilarious.  This woman honestly though that Tai was so sweet and innocent.  Clearly, she had no idea what was going on at the Black Tower.  How could she explain without telling her what Tai could do... LIGHT BLASTED ARATH!  Making her not able to tell the truth on this one!

Rising from the chair, Michelle grabbed a rag and wet it in the large bucket by the door with fresh water.  Coming back to the table, Aria repeated the question as Michelle dabbed at her eyes.  Sighing, she responded.  "Look.  There is some things here that you don't realise.  Do you know why he left?  Or what goes on here?  All I can say is this... Tai tried to kill me.  Granted, it was another part of him, but he could easily kill me, you, and everyone on this farm if he tried."

The look on Aria's face was enough to kill, and Michelle pulled up a week smile.  "Look, he is still somewhat of the man that he left as, but there is new pieces to him that... well..."  She stumbled over her words, unable to answer.  Michelle could then hear muttering and boots coming from Arath's office and she knew he had travelled back in.  What was he thinking, coming back to the room, knowing that Aria would ask questions?!?!?!

Aria looked upset, Arath was going to walk in the room, and Michelle didn't know what else to say, so she blurted it out.  "Aria, Tai can channel."

  6. OOC: GOSH DERNIT QUIT POSTING SO FAST

    IC:

Aria looked faint, as though she would fall over.  Michelle almost stepped closer to her, to hold her up, but then the woman spoke.  "Tai and I, we grew up in Mayne together." Ideas of what could possibly be so bad ran through her mind... Ok, so she grew up beside the big oaf.  Big deal?

Aria was glaring at the ground and shaking back and forth.  Light, this had to be bad.  What had she done, killed his mother?  "He and I, we," a blush went across Aria's face, and Michelle knew what it was. "we lived, he was, for three years- Oh Light, we were lovers!" Oh Light... that was enough to make Michelle want to gag.  She had to hold it back for fear that waste would come from his mouth.  Who in their right mind would sleep with... THAT?!?!?!

Michelle looked at Arath for support, but he almost seemed amused.  Light, he deserved a slap for that! But Aria spoke again, and Michelle held her hand still.  "I, i haven't seen him for sometime now." Wait... Arath had said something about guys being picked up off the street and dragged away.  Had that happened to Aria?  "I love him."

If puke had not already traveled to her mouth once, Michelle would have tasted more.  Light, did the woman just say love?  Expeccially talking about Tai?  It was enough to make any half-sensible woman sick.

Michelle turned to Arath and looked at him, not knowing what to say or do. "I'm going to go find him.  Try to calm her down a bit."  Michelle nodded as they both looked at Aria, who was now on the floor sobbing.  This wouldn't be easy.  "And don't mention ... what we can do.  She might not know yet, and it's probably best that it come from him."

They shared a smile for a brief moment, and Michelle though for half a second... maybe Love is possible.  But as the door shut, that idea was gone, and she turned back to the helpless woman that was sobbing on the floor.

"Alright, my dear.  We are going to get you into a hot bath as soon as Arath comes back and until then, we are going to feed your tummy!"  Aria almost seemed to moan as she sat there, sobbing harder, and Michelle left her there as she stepped into the kitchen and grabbed a bowl.  Searching through the cabinets, she found flour, eggs, milk, sugar, and a few other goodies that she whipped together to make a nice thick batter.

She started up the oven and within a few minutes, it was hot, and she poured the batter in small circles on a flat pan she had found.  Within a few minutes, a lovely fragrance was wafting from the pans.  Taking more milk, Michelle mixed it fast with  a fork, beating it into a pretty creamy poof.  As the flatcakes were ready, Michelle set a few on a plate, topped it with the whipped cream, and added on a few berries she found in the icebox.

Setting the plate on the table with a cup of milk, Michelle went to Aria and pulled her up by her hands, making the woman stand and face her. "Sit.  Eat.  Then a hot bath."

    Michelle

OOC: YES I MADE PANCAKES.  Bite me, I did it!  Boo ya for knowing how to cook oldschool!

  7. Michelle felt good as she rubbed up against Arath.  His body was warm from his workout and she could smell him, so earthy and rich.  Words were flowing from her mouth as she tried to pay attention to Mahdi but still have her eyes on Arath.  "Aria?!"  Tai interupted her, and she looked at him glaring, then realising the name he had said.  Honestly, he had gone off the deep end AGES ago!

"Tai, don't be an oaf; her name is Mahdi.  Will you go be an idiot elsewhere?"  But Tai just ignored her as Mahdi and Tai stared at eachother.  What?!?!?!  "Aria?" Tai repeated, and Mahdi smiled.  Well, Aria.  "Ok, woah now, what is going on?" Michelle asked, but neither heard her as they stared at eachother.  "Oh great, my new friend wants the crazy man."

They both had rock hard faces with no emotion, then Tai seemed to break down before her.  "Tai I," Aria stopped as Tai turned and left the house.  Arath turned and watched him go, and Michelle took the opportunity to pull away from Arath, although she longed to be back in his arms.

Michelle looked at Aria, and saw the woman almost in tears.  It didn't matter; she had lied to her.  But it hurt more than anything.  She just had to stare at the woman in shock.  Why would she lie about something so simple as a name?  Well... if Tai was involved, then that was a good enough reason, but still!

"So then, who wants to tell me what all this is about?"   Michelle turned to look at Aria and spoke up first.  "Well... My guess is something happened between them.  And she is my guest... still... to stay here."   Michelle attempted a smile, although she was hurt, but to at least show her forgiveness, if Aria wanted it.

"And my other guess is, this isn't between us Arath... this is between them.  And I think... I think you should let them handle it."   Yes, that way she could spend time with Arath without Tai and Aria around.

    Hi.

  9. Shaylor ran as fast as her feet would carry her, until she made it to the battlefield where dead bodies were littered.  Those that were still alive were moving along, helping eachother off the field, and she looked to see where Rurak was.  As the highest rank on the field, she had to find him first to make sure it was safe that she continue.  She heard a scream come from a woman and Shaylor decided to head in that direction.  What she saw was horrifying.

Rurak was laying on his back, a small scout over top of him, looking as if to help but lost.  His arms and hands were burned, and she could smell the burning flesh.  Rushing to him, she dropped to her knees beside him and ripped open her bag, digging for anything that would help.  The scout was mumbling, but Shaylor ignored her, considering what to do.  This was so bad, she needed help.  Both hands had to be cleansed from all infection and then salved and wrapped up.  But any wrong move would destroy his hands forever.

"I have some small ability with healing," began a man in a black coat.  This must have been who they were meeting.... "YOU HAD BETTER BACK UP RIGHT NOW! I don't know what happened here or who is in charge, but I can tell you that right now, this is MY BATTLEFIELD and I am the one taking care of people.  I don't care if the Creator himself gave you the ability to raise the dead! GET AWAY FROM HIM NOW!

I don't know WHO thought this was a great idea, but that IDIOT just killed half of the soldiers of the Band of the Red Hand, and if you don't get him away from me right now, I will do the deed myself, starting at his feet and working up to the top of his head.  And if YOU do not BACK AWAY from me and my patients, then I will do the same to you next.  Wanna be useful?  Check bodies for who is dead or alive.  OR, you can whipe the sweat off my brow as I actually do something to SAVE A LIFE!

The man looked at her in shock while he stumbled backwards, and as he turned to leave, she went back to Rurak, seeing the shocked faces looking at her, lost and confused.  Turning to the scout that had screamed, she yelled, "Get my horse, now!  We have to get him back to the Citadel."  The girl looked like she would protest but Shaylor cut her off, turning her shoulders and pushing her towards the back of the field.

Going back to her knees, she saw that he was in pain and grabbed a wooden rod from inside her bag.  Opening his mouth, she set it in between his teeth so that he could naw on that.  "Bite, Rurak.  I promise, it helps," she said, soothing his hair back as she looked over the wounds. "Where is that light blasted child..." Shaylor muttered under her breath.

"Ok, hold down his shoulders and legs," she said to the nearest two soldiers, who jumped to do as she said.  Taking his right arm just above the burned skin, she dropped a few beats of water onto his forearm, testing to see his pain.  It was bad; he looked about to cry.  She needed herbs and medics and something to knock him out fast, if the pain didn't do it first.

    Shaylor

  10. OOC: NO! Bad Ashie! No Healing!  Ok, in all seriousness, Shaylor is supposed to bandage up Rurak's hands to try and repair the damage, but not heal them up fully.  We figured, he wouldn't exactly trust an Ashie after THAT display.  I can help mend up your wounds as well, but not until after rushing Rurak back to the Citadel.  Anywho, I don't see where a good place for me is, so I am gonna post up until where the battle seems over.  Blade or Jehaine can post the fire at them.  BTW Tai, I am gonna yell at you on this character too.  YAY for verbal abuse on multiple personalities!

    IC:

As Shaylor ran to the scream, her heart settled down.  She saw that no one was dead, but a few had burns on their arms and bodies from Light knows what. They all looked bewildered, as if they had no idea where was safe and where the battlefield was, and she had to admit that she had no idea where the battlefield was either.  Whoever these men were, they would get an earful from her when this was over and done with.

"Come with me!" she yelled at the men that were bleeding and burnt.  They stared at her for a second, and she saw them move apart to show her what was on the ground behind him.  She gasped, seeing a soldier dead where a huge circle of fire had landed.  His face and body was completely burned, and she rushed forward to check his pulse.  The smell of burning flesh made her eyes wet and she flinched as she dropped the dead wrist, not feeling a single beat.

Taking a bandage from her sack, she opened it up wide and layed it over the soldier's face.  No man should lie like that.  After the battle, he would recieve a proper burial, but for now, she had to worry more about the living than the dead.  The soldiers followed her as she led them back behind the line, and began looking at the men, one at a time.  It seemed like days went by as she checked every soldier's burns.  None were too bad and would heal within a week or two.  Those she had mended went out to find more soldiers, to lead them back to her, and after a while, they were all taken care of.

A scream came from across the field, and Shaylor grabbed her bag, rushing back into the line of fire.  She knew this was dangerous, as she had been well protected back in the back with the other men, but she couldn't leave someone out here where they could be dieing or worse... already dead like the other man.  That image would be scarred in her mind forever, and she hoped to never see another body that badly burned.

    Shaylor

  11. Arathhhhh, you didn't kick back my bio, and I wrote almost 3 full pages!  Go me!

Trust me, we all welcome new stories because after a while, all of the bios have the same thing in them, ie Trolloc ate my Parents, the Bad Aes Sedai bit me, Mom or Dad was a national hero, I came from the wealthiest or poorest family....

Yeah.  Something new is always nice to read.  WELCOME!
