  1. Light, thank you for the feature! O.O This was completely unexpected!

You're a member here! How exciting :D And you are very welcome! It's an exciting piece and I'd love to see something similar with the other Ajahs!

  2. How about artwork that focuses on channelers using saidin/saidar?  This is one of the aspects of the series that is hardest for me to visualize in my head, especially the weaving together of different powers.  It would be great to see how artists come up with ideas for how it might look.

I was planning a character feature, but I'll keep this in mind! That's a good idea :)

  3. This is really great.  I can't wait to see his Lan, Matt and Rand.

Well he's doing a series of the Female Forsaken first, but hopefully he'll do the Ta'veren boys some time!

Thanks so much for the great article! If you don't mind I'd like to repost this myself.

Sorry for taking so long to respond! Do feel free to repost, as long as you include a long to the original post :)

I have to go to JordanCon one time in my life. I Live in the UK which makes it slightly problematic.

I feel your pain Raven, I'm in Norway. I was hoping I'd get to go this year, but no such luck unfortunatley.

  4. I'm so happy to see that Fan Art Friday is back! Love everything that's been posted so far, and I especially love Jieroque! Mmmm dat Egwene.

I didn't see your comment before now, Minnie! So sorry about that. I'm totally excited about Jieroque and I can't wait to see what he does in the future :D

  5. Thank you!  Mistborn was my first foray into other fantasy worlds after finishing WoT (I, too, had a hard time leaving the WoT world; talk about a book hangover), and I love it almost as much.  Absolutely adore Vin above Luthadel and Sazed!

Book hangovers are hard! I have a few books I read over and over that I usually go to when I have a serious book hangover, to kinda clean out the system and get ready for something new!

  6. At this point I've only read the title of the post and I'm commenting to say that I could marry you right now. K. Now let's see the post xD

    Lol!

Ok. A-W-S-O-M-E. Let's see it again...

Yes, I'm kind of a big Mistborn fan. tWoT is the top of my "awsome fantasy" list, but Mistborn is also pretty damn high, along with 'Geralt de Rivia' (Andrzej Sapkowski) and King Killer Chronicles (Patrick Rothfuss). I strongly recommend the three of them to all of you.

I've read Kingkiller Chronicles (AND I LOVE THEM), not I gotta check out that other one!

It always disappoints me that there are very few pieces of artwork depicting Kelsier, especially since I think he's the most interesting character in the series.

I know, I've wondered about the same! I'll go digging and see if I can find a really good one and put it as a bonus for you in the next Brandon Sanderson feature!

I haven't read these, but that Vin character looks pretty awesome.

    She is super awesome.

  7. I haven't read them yet. I've been kind of reluctant to enter any fantasy world other than WoT.

My favorite here is the Steel Inquisitor. I feel dread looking at it!

I think you might like them, Ry. It isn't a traditional fantasy setting; it is very differnt from the WoTverse, wich I think will make it easier to get into than a more similar world. Also, Vin is quite like Tris and Katniss, so I think you'll really like her!

  8. Occams; Not that I have found so far unfortunatley! I agree it would be an amazing image.

Naggash, I will see if I can find any artwork from AoL, I haven't so far but I'll look!

Ryrin yes the artist making the images in the calendar are amazing, I so admire Ariel Burgess :)

    Jozan, I agree wholeheartedly!

  9. Though I normally don't like the style of these computer-generated works, these ones are pretty good. The Verin one is my favorite.

Yeah the Verin one is amazing isn't it?

My favourite is...hard to pick. They are all very close to how the characters look in my mind. Brilliant stuff!

Yeah I don't think I'd be able to pick a favourite out of these! The Flame of Tar Valon that I featured last week wins by a narrow margin, but the rest here is so close!
