  2. Kukasö - Novice I can't say thar I love this holidays, but having holidays are always better then not having So we are going to celebrate Cristmas, New year, Orthodox Christmas, Old style New Year and Chinese style New year Trying to make presents in time. And I'm secret Santa on the other forum this year. So one more present to make but one more present to receive
  3. Thank you Tynaal! I like how I look in white Thank you Ithi, Mystica, Raena, Ledinna, key, Karasayl, Rekinu, Turin, Kathleen, Ayla, Mother, Daruya I'm so happy to become a Novice Kathleen, you are wright who needs swords when you have OP? And if you still need a sword fortunately there are Warders
  4. I'd start with The Three Musketters(as I actually did myself when I was 9) or with The Count(maybe better with the Count) War and Peace is not very bad especially if you skip all the phylosophy (or only a part of it when you understand that it's repeated for the third time already and there are some more pages of it) Can't say anything about Les Misérables and Anna Karenina(maybe I'd read AK after W&P)
  5. Elgee, it's not THAT bad. I like how it looks And I hope I'll stop introducing myself eight times a day soon
  6. Raena, I get it from German. My name is written in German here I think I tryed to express Russian letter ё. They don't have it in English. How does ö sound in Swedish? I already regret I have written it. I don't have it on my keyboard so it's quite a problem to write my name
  7. Hello! I'm Kukasö! I'm from Russia. I'm an interior designer. And I'm interested in all kinds of Arts. I'm interested in History too(but especially History of Arts). I like learning languages and all kind of new things. But I often don't have enough patience to achieve some marked degree. I've been reading Wot series since I don't remember when. I began from Lord of Chaos. That was a puzzle And I've reread it several times since. I'm new here on forums but I've wandered to DM a couple of years ago. Brown is one of my favourite colours What do you like to discuss besides books and everything knowledge related(and chocolate of course)?
  8. Russia, Moscow. Or a village 60 kilometers from Moscow for now. Is it Europe? I'm not sure... looking around. Where is North Asia option? =)

Elgee, totally agree. And if you eat only pudding you become sick of it Ok, I've decided Turin Turambar, thanks. Exploring everything now. If I have any questions I would ask

You are welcome to ask anything about Russian. I don't remember any rules though Yes, such start was veeeery confusing. But I liked it very much all the same Yes, for the second time you catch hints you haven't seen earlier. And for the third... I'm going to read it for the fourth or fifth time. I'm deciding between reading from the beginning or just rereading favourite parts

Oh! Thanks everyone Elgee, yes, I had a look around the rest DM site and exploring it more now. Afrikaans... I haven't known such language exists! I thought there are mostly English and French in Africa and some native languages. Aiel Heart, nice beginning in Russian You don't need по- if you say "Я учу русский". And you need it if you say "Я учусь говорить по-русски". "Русский" means "Russian" and "по-русски" means "in Russian". I just finished Towers of Midnight and I'm thinking maybe to start from the beginning. The first book from the series I read was Lord of Chaos. It was in three books with no hints that any other parts exist. It left strange impression that I should know something else about it, that there should be some beginnig at least. But how should I know? Several years later I found out that there are other books. I was happy My favourite parts are when Rand and others travel in the Waste, when Nynaeve and Elayne travel with menagery and when they are in Tanchico. And my favourite caracter is Nynaeve. Ledinna Sedai, if you mean Kukasö it's from the first letters of my Family name, my name and my patronymic name. Not very interesting really. Everybody asks if it's Japanese It's "Кукасё" in Russian and sounds something like this: [kuka'sɜː] Threads, thanks. I think I already like it Oops! How many letters I've written.
  12. Hello, everyone! I'm new here too. My name is Katerina and I'm living in Moscow, Russia. I like traveling (espesially with my dog),reading you-know-what(and not only it), making wool toys. I haven't counted how many times I've read the WoT series. In English it sounds much-much-much better than in Russian(though it's not a surprise ). Looking forward to reading all the discussions here . Sorry in advance for my English if I'll write something strange
