  1. I wasn't heavily into podcasts at the time, and many of the episodes predate my involvement in the WoT community, so I'll be listening to most of these for the first time.
  2. OMG Jea I haven't seen you for ages. I'm not around as much as I used to be, so I'm only just now seeing this.
  3. I've been enjoying podcasts at eork, but they devour my phone charge. Wheel of Time Spoilers TWoTcast The 4th Age A Podcast of Ice and Fire Boars, Gore, and Swords (GoT and ASOIAF) Binge Mode (GoT and ASOIAF) The Legendarium (general topics of geek interest) Prog Notes
  4. https://cbsaustin.com/news/local/pflugerville-man-not-sure-why-people-dont-like-his-homes-paint-job It looks perfect for you!
  5. I've been reading Good Omens the last few days and liking it a lot so far. Pratchett's humor shows through even when he's working with a co-author. And I'm getting a huge kick out of the homages to The Omen, which happens to be my favorite horror movie of all time.
  6. If you listen to audiobooks and prefer to buy them rather than get them from the library, then it's worth it. It's probably the most cost-effective way to buy them.
  7. I'm about 3/4 done with Small Favor but retinal surgery has slowed me way down. I'm having better progress with non-visual entertainment for now, as we began a long-planned first listen (first for me anyway) of WoT. In four days we've done more than half of TEOTW. I've decided that I love Kate Reading's voice, but Michael Kramer (whom I've heard before and didn't like then, either) is pretty underwhelming as an audio reader.

  9. Basel Gill, Brown Aes Sedai. To access DM, I go to my bookmarks and click on the one labeled "Dragonmount".
  10. Never have I ever owned an "ugly" Christmas sweater.
  11. Done with rereading ACoS, so now I'm gonna stsrt on White Night in the Dresden books. Don't think I'll finish by year's end.
  12. Thanks for that, Tress. The Reckoners ebooks are also on sale for $1.99 each, no clue how long this is for.
  13. Uugggghhh. I hate reading about Alanna's bond with Rand. Not simply because it was nonconsensual, but also the stuff that comes afterward. Her ability to track Rand is vital to helping the good guys win at Dumai's Wells; in other words, an act equivalent to rape saves the day. She never faces any punishment for her actions, either. Why doesn't either group of Aes Sedai ever censure her? Why doesn't Egwene (especially after the WT is reunited) order her to dissolve the bond? For that matter, why doesn't Rand bring it up with Egwene and ask that she do something about it? Every time I see this b
