I love the Wheel of Time, my favorite book series ever.  I have read the entire series @ least a dozen times.  That being said, I do not know about the show.  I do not have a problem with the idea of it being brought to the screen, I have a problem with Amazon.  They do not deserve any of my $$$, so I am going to have to figure out a way to watch it without that scum making any profit off of me.  No, I will not pirate, thieves are also scum, but waiting until some sort of dvd/Blu-ray release then picking that up from my local library seems like my best option.

If you want to see a Wheel of Time tv adaptation, subscribe and watch. If people take the whole, "I hate Amazon so I'm not subscribing" mindset, you can forget about dvd/blu-ray because it won't make it that far.

Which book is that quote from?

  3. Nice piece of writing, but what does "It may not have been what people expected, but, to quote Stephen King, it was the right ending," mean?

People had issues with the ending of Stephen Kings The DarkTower series because of how it ends and Stephen King basically said that he didn't care what people thought because the ending it had was "the right ending."

Of course I'm not saying the ending of AMoL will have complaints like The Dark Tower did because I guarantee it won't but that was what he meant by it being "the right ending."

  4. My favorite scene in the Wheel of Time series is Rand's trip through Rhidean followed closely by his epiphany on top of Dragonmount when he realizes that his reason for fighting is to fix what he messed up before and that maybe he could love again. It was a very strong scene emotionally.
