If it weren't for Morgan going beast mode it wouldn't have even been worth watching.

 

I really don't enjoy this too cute by half cold opening stuff.

Maybe once in a blue moon it's ok but twice in a row is way too much for me when I don't really even enjoy it in the first place.

I really hope they stop by next week or I may just drop out of this season entirely.

Haven't they been doing cold opens since the show began? I can remember being struck very early on by how the theme music began at the end of the cold open, a second or two before the opening credits.

No I must have missed that.

I think I wouldn't have minded the episode so much if it was clearer what was going on.

I can tell it was skipping back and forth in time but the actual sequence of events wasn't...linear I think? If that makes sense?

And then the scenes with old Rick...were those dreams? An alternate reality? What he wished would happen? The far future? Something else entirely?

I don't know and because I don't know I don't care.

Literally the only parts of the episode I enjoyed were when Negan was on screen and that wasn't very long.

I did not enjoy that episode.

I was so excited for this to be made for screen, and then terribly disappointed with the outcome.

Really?

I thought it was pretty good when taking all factors into consideration.

Apparently it comes out tomorrow which I didn't know until just now.

Also it will be the 100th episode of the series.

So apparently this show didn't get cancelled. It's no longer with MTV though, they moved to Spike.

Episode 1 aired the other day and without too many spoilers I'll just say they retain the same cast as last season more or less but this time they seem to be covering the Sword of Shannara story.

How they are going to do that exactly with the elfstones in play isn't really clear to me but eh whatever.

I've read that people are buying a lot of pre-modded xbox's on ebay and such but I'm not really sure if that's the explanation or not.

Also. yeah I've had discussions about that before.

You would really think cheating would be more prevalent on PC.

I am boggled by the amount of cheating I see on Xbox.

I don't have an explanation for that.

Well apparently there are two kinds of aimbots, there is one that you'd think of first which is that it snaps to your head and gets nothing but crits.

Then there's also this "sticky" one where you are still kind of aiming but something to do with the player silhouette or whatever makes them really "sticky" so it is extremely easy to follow someone's movements.

For example you know how a Genji jumping around right in front of you can be very hard to hit? Not for these people, once the aim is "stuck" on Genji it will follow his movements like you are predicting where he will go.

These types of aimbotters usually play McCree I've noticed. They don't pop you in the head every shot...but they don't ever miss a shot either.

Apparently Blizzard has said they can't really do anything about the "sticky" aimbotting because it looks too much like an actual player.

You'll nab a lot of legitimately good players if you just ban anyone who doesn't miss a shot with McCree you know?

And I understand that but at the same time I am on the verge of quitting this game for good.

Yeah Hanzo is really hard to tell because he has that hitbox issue with his arrows and also he deals so much damage you can't really tell if the guy is just getting lucky shots or not.

One way you can tell if someone is aimbotting is if they are getting Ults way too quick.

I played one game recently where I got killed by a D.Va bomb on Junkertown at the final push on defense, respawned, and got killed by a D.Va bomb immediately after exiting my spawn.

That's, what, like 20-40 seconds to respawn and get out of spawn? No way. I call shenanigans.

Maybe it's a platform thing because quickplay and comp are both saturated with cheaters on Xbox.

Well, I liked Rey, and this looks like she will become really strong and have some conflict in regards to which side of the Force she will serve, so I am optimistic that it will be good. Then again, I am a casual Star Wars fan, and I don't set the bar that high, although I thought the Phantom Menace was pretty weak, and even though I like Natalie Portman in general, I hated her as Amendala (sp) because she seemed wooden the entire time. 

 

I liked Attack of the Clones. That was the second one, right? That one was much better than the Phantom Menace, and the last one was okay, too.

 

The one-off was really good. I liked that it was a complete story, and the droid was a wonderful character. I'd like to see more little side adventures like that.

Phantom Menace was clearly the best of the prequel trilogy.

Don't make me come over there!

I have to say, Luke is already 10x more interesting than he was in TFA.

It helps that he has some lines this time of course lol.

So I'll be honest here. The Force Awakens got a lukewarm response from me.

I am not about to let these movies just skate by on nostalgia alone.

That said, if even some of the things this trailer teases comes to pass I think I will finally be able to embrace this new trilogy as a legitimate and successful successor to the franchise.

Not going to lie, I haven't been excited for a Star Wars movie since Attack of the Clones (what a mistake that was) so my hopes are high.

Really hoping they aren't dashed once again...

The cheating in this game is just unreal on Xbox.

Almost every game has 2 or 3 aimbotters and who knows how many people wallhack.

I love this game but I don't think I can stand it much longer if the cheating doesn't let up.

Kind of hoping the report system will do something but my hopes are not high.

Yeah. I experienced it the worst after having read the count of Monte cristo but WoT's fallout was pretty bad too. I didn't read anything for awhile afterwards.

If you haven't read it yet maybe try the Shannara series?

I haven't read all of them but the first three are solid and mostly self contained even though it wasn't technically intended as a trilogy you can read them that way.

Anyone watching the latest season (Heroes vs Healers vs Hustlers)?

I watched the first few seasons of survivor when it came out and then stopped for like over a decade and now I've been getting back into it lol.

This season is kind of ehh so far, don't really like the theme, but whatever it's something to watch.

I've had it for years but haven't read it.

I think I'll just wait until it's done before starting it.

I've already waited for Wheel of Time and A Song of Ice and Fire.

I can't do it again...

I kind of checked out of this game after dying but glad we won. GG everyone.
