Bet. The last two games the pats played the chiefs, they gave up at least 31 points in only the second half. First time playing brady is going to be nerve racking. This guy is an all time great and probably a personal idol, yet he still recovers and puts up 43 on a defense that has only allowed that a handful of times. Second time they meet in the afc champ game. More nerves and a new cover 0 scheme that has him confused. He knows Hill is going to get doubled, stephon will probably cover kelce, but now we have Mercole hardman, this dude is only marginally slower than hill. Watkins taking underneath routes with two speedsters cutting up the backfield and kelce deep middle field. Dont forget mahomes is getting comfortable running on teams when they go man coverage. There's just no way someone cant get open, assume hill will be locked down and literally just use him to pull coverage. We also have one of the best olines for pass protection this year, even though it doesn't always seem like it. Only issue is whether this committee of Rbs can actually get going. I liked what i saw late in the 4th last week from thompson so well see. Now for the Pats side of the ball. receivers are weak, run game is struggling, brady doesn't seem like himself. They had a vanilla schedule and then got surprised when they lose to two teams that are actually worth talking about, one of which we have beat the last two years, so now here is to three ?

i put a link up early that went over some of his more insane plays like throwing around defensive ends on 3rd and long, left hand throws, no looks. Alot of those he came up with on the fly because the coverage was knew and he got beat. He's gonna be so scary when he has tom brady level understanding of defenses... ? considering what he did in the second half of the afc game against belicheks defense.... just damn.

i just have trouble believing in flacco. And they didn't have an answer for mahomes. 

Ab might be a problem but if hes the only problem then its not a problem. Im hopeful on better run protection. Guess only time will tell. Im ready for September.

Honestly i loved Houstin. Got his jersey and thought Ford did decent work but at those price tags and switching to the 4-3 along with questionable performance and injury concerns. I dont think theyd be a great contribution. Im excited to see clark, jones, nadi, and okafor on the dline and our linebackers actually playing aggressive instead of whatever the hell they had to do in suttons scheme. 

Breeland, fuller are an improvement. I would have preferred a big move for another CB like peterson or getting muphy in the draft but oh well. 

Honey badger and thornhill will be exciting to see playing safety. This defense is def not perfect but it is an improvement and seems young at most positions and if we can go from dead last on D to middle of the pack, thats all mahomes really needs ? 

agreed ^ honestly feel like a lot of GOT was just that way because that is what HBO does. If GOT had been on amazon it probably would have been less in your face T&A and more tasteful.

itll be cool to see. If all you mean is TDs and Yards than yea he probably wont match those numbers but if the defense does its job he wont need to. Im more interested in seeing him become more technical, learning more coverage's and being efficient. Im not going to hate the defense until i see it. Im optimistic that it will be an improvement and thats really all we need.  With hardman, hill, watkins, and kelce i think the Offense will be just as lit.

When i think about it, its pretty simple. Lets be real. There's not a lot of teenagers who haven't seen GOT. If you have kids and your dont want your kids to see it and can actually enforce it great, have them wait until they are 18. Same thing can apply to this show. Have them read the books. If the show is too mature then dont have younger views watch until they are older, the reality is that they can watch anytime they want and more than likely have access to other content as well. cough cough. Personally i like an adult feel to tv shows. Im an adult and think it makes things more real. I dont appreciate gratuitousness to be clear but i shouldn't be penalized so a 12 year old can watch tv.  Go play outside.  

When i was speaking of battles i was kind of picturing the battle of dumas wells (probably butchered that) and how grizzly that will be. Its people killing people and then being blendered at the end. Its not just going to be these epic battles with a binary good vs evil agenda with fast paced cameras zipping around so you never really focus on people. Id imagine it will be pretty violent.

Im more interested to know how they will portray rands conversations with lews therin. Honestly theres alot of dialogue in peoples heads that will be missed out on ? 

Regression only applies to players that have been in the league for awhile and then had an allstar year. Sounds like youre quoting espn. Automatically assuming that mahomes cant be better than he was last year is crazy. I think you'll regret that. Most players are shown to improve their second year. 

I dont need 55 TDs and 5000 yards. I just need clutch plays and the qb who comes back at halftime makes better calls and gets us the win or runs us down the field with a min on the clock. Efficiency and technical skills are going to improve this year, guaranteed.

  But hey thats all ill say on the matter. Everyone thought mahomes was a bad pick and hey we went to the afc championship game and dee ford lost us the game. 

Mahomes is pretty much on his second year so its not impossible to see him improve even more this year. He basically carried the team his 1st year. 

I think its a rush to say the defense still sucks, when we haven't seen anything yet. Really just need to get one more solid starting cb (cough cough patrick peterson) and id say we have a really decent group with some of the free agents competing for depth. Safety position is way more solid than last year which will help. Im really excited to see the dline do work this year.

why are they "crazy" sex scenes? Its just sex and it did happen in the books and itll be shown in the show in some format. Simply because Jordan didn't try his hand at erotica doesn't mean that there wasn't plenty of it or that it wasn't important. As  for the other comment, i for one do want a bloody and explicit version. This book is not wholesome pg 13 story, there are hangings, slavery, mind control, beheading, countless murders, sexual degradation and humiliation along with plenty of battles. Just because it might come off across as okay to let kids read this, a visual representation is most definitely for adults. IMHO

why is polygamy such a big deal for the show to pull off? Polygamy/open relationships are starting to become quite popular, why do we need to cut this just to appease a few people who take things a little to seriously?  

I've seen that Rafe intends on depicting the show for a wide range of ages. I'm interested to know what other people think. Ive seen pros and cons for both. 

If thats what they're calling it don't be deceived. Andy and Clark hunt just dont want a player kneeling and cant handle someone who plays to win and gets emontional.
