Ugh can we ease up on the condescension just a tad?! Anyways I don't even know why I'm posting in this thread, this site's purpose is for fans of the world RJ created to gather and share their enjoyment of one of the best epic fantasy series I've ever read, and discuss possible theories and whatnot. And yet, more threads are devoted to what's wrong with the series than most topics I've seen addressed. If there's so much wrong with this series, why even discuss it and criticize it when you can move on to the next book/series? It's not like anyone is paying you for your flaming criticisms.

I wish the site had a "like" option. Or a "read this first before you do anything else" option - I would choose yours in a heartbeat. I find it rather ridiculous that most of the threads on DM are devoted to ripping apart characters, plot lines and the authors.

Not to trivialise the discussion, but that gave me a mental picture of Fain, confronted with a disk of cuendillar, saying "Hmm, cookie!" and biting it in half..

I used to be in the Faile haters camp - but after reading through all of the posts above I think I need to reread some of her scenes! I think readers sometimes forget that most of the main characters are little more than kids. I certainly forgot that Faile was so young. And looking at most of her actions throughout the books, one can kind of see the good intentions behind her often bizarre acts.

One thing that I always appreciated about her is her loyalty. She is there for Perrin all the way, even when he tries (foolishly) to push her away. And that's pretty admirable.

 

My question is : What happened to Demiandre's TP channeling plants?

 

 

If you knew! The soil they are growing in is a Blight, buds are burning in a blazing furnace, like caverns of fire, leaves are now black and red, and the whole plant is playing sha'rah while muttering about "poking holes".

Meant you could put your TP channeling plants up for auction, I'm sure you can make lots of money off that. I'd pay to have some!

As for Melaine, maybe it makes me a cynical person, but I think that pregnant lady can be just as evil as anyone else (and it'd be a good disguise). There are fairly compelling reasons to discount almost all the other Dreamwalkers, but I can't think of a single thing that proves Melaine's innocence..
