Wow. It is truly a shame that Darrell Sweet was unable to complete this. The details and any mistakes would have been fixed before the final version.
Thanks for posting this. It is one of Sweet's best paintings, even in rough draft form. I have faith that Michael Whelan will do justice with his painting for AMOL.

Wow, sad news. While I was not the biggest fan of his artwork, I too got hooked on the series with the cover of Eye of the World. As Brandon stated before, the cover screams epic and it definitely got me hooked. RIP Mr. Sweet, and thank you for sharing your art with us.

This is phenomenal work! Quite funny and insightful. Keep up the great work!

Great interview Luckers, thanks! There were some pointed questions in there regarding Sanderson's works vs. Wheel of Time-I liked Sanderson's brutal honesty that his works might be overshadowed by the Wheel...and he's fine with that. Sanderson's works do stand on their own though, and he'll create his own shadow for sure.

Thanks for the heads up, Jason! Only whets the appetite more for the whole book!

Jason, thanks so much for taking the time out of your busy schedule to post this review. Similar to Sid, it was your review of Gathering Storm that enticed me to join Dragonmount. Once again, this review is just as tantalizing as TGS, and I am frothing at the mouth for the release of Towers. I too, will be sad when AMoL is released, but at the same time I'm ready for it.
Thanks for all that you do Jason, it's very much appreciated by us. More importantly, congratulations on being cited on the Towers dedication-well deserved!

Thanks for posting Jason. That was a fantastic tribute to RJ, very thoughtful and inspiring. I imagine many of us will be penning similar letters to RJ once we have finished reading AMOL ;) As you said, the scope of the Wheel of Time crosses over so much of our lives. It has been a part of my life for 20 years so far, and look forward to the Wheel living on in other formats. Thanks again!
