Lets discuss greatest CONSOLE VIDEO GAMES!

 

We all have a favorite console game that we play over and over! I know I do....

 

What is your favorite console game and why?

 

What console game character would you say is the greatest of all time???

 

Which console do you prefer to play on? PS4? XboxOne?

I mainly on the PS4, but sometimes I go on my computer (for the Sims ).

 

My favorite game so far is Dragon Age, especially the third one, Dragon Age Inquisition. I love the world that Bioware has build,  its many species and cultures, its history. They have tried to make realistic characters with their good and bad side. When you go on adventure with your companions (NPC) they talk together. The party banter, like we called it, is often hilarious. You can also choose who you want to be, your race, your powers, your alignment. Many of your decisions have a real influence on the game.

And the romance your character can have with the NPC is just the cherry on the cake.

 

The greatest character of all time ... that's a tough one.

 

I could say Caius Ballad ... because of the voice :3 (but also is loyalty)

 

 

I will pick a character from another Bioware game. Garrus Vakarian ! No one can calibrate like him ;)

My favorite console is anything Nintendo... probably the GameCube. Of course, I also love my WiiU and my 3DS! <3

 

Greatest character: Link. Not even open for debate as far as I'm concerned. :P

What is your favorite console game and why?

 

That is a tooooough tough tough call between Chrono Trigger and Suikoden II. Nostalgia. Replay value. Compelling characters and plots. Soundtracks. Sheer creativity of game design. They both have it all, and maybe at the end of the day I have to give the edge to Chrono Trigger by a fraction of a hair...

 

 

What console game character would you say is the greatest of all time???

 

Hmmmmm....  oh I could probably just roll with Kefka from Final Fantasy VI.

 

 

Which console do you prefer to play on? PS4? XboxOne?

 

Isn't the PS2 still new?

Oh, excellent choices, Shad! I adored Chrono Trigger! And FF6 is one of my favorites ever! I love the part when you have to act in the play! Love love love that song!!!

For me...I haven't played console games is a long time. But I would go with PS3 (or 4). I go way back with playstation! My favorite games would be the Assassin Creded games. I love to play them, I like the story behind the game and the gameplay. Black Flag is probably the one I played the most. I also like the Elder Scrolls games.

 

For Characters I would have to go with Nathan Drake....He's like Laura Croft and Indiana Jones rolled into one! LOL

COMPUTER GAMES!  Lets talk about greatest MMORPGs today!

 

I know I have a favorite! I've played several. Who has played/plays PC games?

 

Do you have a favorite?

 

Is there something about the gameplay that is different from console games that you like better?

 

Do you think there is one company that outshines the other in creation?

 

What else makes them great?

I have played Guild Wars, Guild Wars 2, Aion, Rift, League of Legends, and World of Warcraft. My favorite by far is Guild Wars 2.

I've been playing GW/GW2 for close to 10 years now! I love it!

 

Aion and RIft were fun. In Aion you have the ability to fly and I love that part of the gameplay. It's very challenging. It is also a very visually beautiful game. Rift was fun, but not as much content and gameplay as I would have liked. I didn't like LoL at all and WoW was too cartoonish for me. 

 

ArenaNet (NCSoft) is my favorite game creators/designers. I think they do alot in the way of making it realistic and they are continually adding content to keep the users engaged.

 

What else I like is the ability to play in groups and that I have made some really good friends online in game!

My PC gaming is very limited. I used to play Sim City in the computer, as well as a few of the fantasy based King's Quest games. I loved Doom! We also played Wolfenstein (I think that's how you spell it). Oh, another one I loved was Commander Keen-- it was a kid's game where you had to save the world from aliens.

 

I haven't played any MMORPGs.
