    • You can carry water in a metal bucket, or a plastic bucket, or a glass vase, or a ceramic jar. You could scoop it up with a wooden spoon, or a glass bowl, or even a hat.   Just as there are a lot of ways to do the same thing in mundane tasks, there are a lot of ways to do the same thing with the Power.
    • Remember that there's also a fountain in the city that presumably gets water from the lake.
    • Just because she thinks it doesn't mean it's true. Character POVs are not objective truths.   In addition, we don't really know how the Power stacks up. Two women Linking does not double the amount of power available, it only makes the circle somewhat stronger than a lone channeler. However, being stronger means being able to do more things, things you couldn't do before. That's why angreal and circles are useful.   A circle of channelers can easily shield an equal number of unlinked channelers, but if the unlinked channelers attacked the circle from different directions and in different ways, the circle would have a difficult time fending them off, since only one person can control the flows.   So we really don't know how much stronger Nynaeve is compared to the other AS, and how much stronger the circle + sa'angreal makes them. I know there is a ranking listed in the BWB, but those values are not necessarily on a linear scale. For example, is Rand, who is rated 100, only 1% stronger than Demandred, who's 99? We really don't know.
    • Thanks.  Are you aware of any site that has compiled a list (with sources) of what each state is actually doing in plain-English as well as the exact wording used in legalese?  Side Note: Apparently Legalese isn't actually slang.
