Thanks Mashi :D   The Yellow Sedai is super cute. I love bruises indeed....... we yellows are such masochists. Or sadists?  Hell, we're prolly both  xD

I will try to get yours resent soon, Mashi. I'm just tweaking some stuff about the Jcon related beadwork that I'm sending along with it.

Okay, the patch came from girl scouts. (My troop did a co-operative outing with another troop from another state. It was cool).

Challenge coins have a long, complex history. Nowadays, the coins are usually used in military units and are awarded from a higher ranking military person to a lower ranking person when they do something impressive. (That One I earned from a Command Sergeant Major for coming to him for coming to him asking him about a stupid call made by my immediate supervisors).
A lot of times they're used in drinking games (Who has the fewest or lowest rank buys the drinks for most/highest/all others, etc).

I know it's not 'Arizona' culture, but my time in the Army is a very crucial part of my own life/culture.

I will have to resend stuff to Mashi because there was a rip in the envelope I sent her and the items got lost. It'll take me a bit to send it, but once it arrives I'm sure she'll remember to drop by here and show what she got :)

I will give one spoiler, since she already knows she's gonna be getting it:

Oh, and the back of the Israeli flag keychain has this prayer:

It says:

"Prayer for Travellers"

May it be your will,

Lord, to lead us,

and bring us to

our destination

in peace, and

to deliver us

from the hands

of all enemies.

Blessed are you,

Lord, who hears

prayer.

(I couldn't get the picture to flip sideways...)

So. Unboxing.

The beer and lambic were delicately wrapped.

I've had Lindemans Kriek many, many years ago. I'm certain I haven't drank Rochefort or Duval before. Like I said, I absolutely love Trappist beer. You've made me very happy.

EDIT: I had Lindeman's framboise lambic, which is made with raspberries. Kriek is a special type of cherry, I think. Myst can sort us out.

But it doesn't end there. Waffle cookies, honey and Belgian chocolate. One of the members of our gaming group brought some homemade cookies over last night and I have been craving these all day. Who would have thought they'd show up on my doorstep unannounced?

The next one was tricky. They look like malt balls BUT THEY AREN'T.

And pralines. While the box appears slightly smooshed, they are unharmed. But not for long.

And more cookies.

Flemish cough drops.

And festive feastday puppies.
