check them out on amazon. don't have an author. i use bowl food and small food a lot.

They're a bunch of small, to the point books that are fantastic. the Small Food one in particular is great if you're doing a cocktail party.

 

For Asian food: The Complete Asian Cookbook by Charmaine Soloman my asian cooking bible.

Italian: The Silver Spoon

Falling Cloudberries: can't remember the author, has greek, greek cypriot, south african and i think some turkish recipes in it.

How to Eat: Nigella Lawson
