Race 6 - Fire Mountain Rally results

 

With only three racers left the competition was always going to be fierce. There was Team Honour at stake - and also personal goals. Time had won the two previous Hunger Games and REALLY wanted to win a third. Turin just wanted to live for once, as he usually got deaded on day 1. And Thane wanted to win it for the glory of Team Pink and get the undying admiration and gratitude of his Sponsor. Maybe he'd even be able to get away with not buying chocolates for a little while.

 

The Sponsors had all done their best.

 

Now it was up to the Racers.

They all had plans.

 

 

As Turin raced past Time he threw a book in her direction - oooh lovely. Thane went past her other side and lobbed over some gorgeous Belgian chocolate. This was brilliant

 

 

Too late she saw their deception ... too late to save herself but not too late to take one of them down with her ...

Time drew on her reserves and fired one last shot.

 

 

Striking Thane in the sporran and totally engulfing him in flames. And then tick tock BOOM! her time was also up.

 

Turin was the only one to finish the race.

 

The next day came the Boonta Eve Classic - yes, the one that Anakin won.

 

Only 1 flag was paraded across the field.

 

 

He sauntered around the course, taking in the cheers from the crowds and relaxing in the knowledge that there was no-one left to stand in his way.

 

 

Turin has won the 4th BT Hunger Games!
