So, Des, let's say she's alive tomorrow. What does that tell us? What if she's alive the next day? Or the NEXT day? Or the day after THAT?? How long do you let a scummy player slide on the basis of their claim and - frankly - for no other reason? I have asked this before [of Mish?] and didn't receive an adequate response.

 

 

On my reread, I'm actually SOMEHWAT confident Red is town, so not sure why she's still being called "scummy" - she does an absurd amount of needless instigation, but her combative and obstinate hammering just seems to suicidal for her to be Mafia. She basically screamed to be policy lynched, but  maintained a genuine enough sense of paranoia in handling her way, way too many suspects.

 

Yates, would you agree that Red's approach to this game has been overtly hostile and paranoid? Do you think that suggests Mafia for her?

We know that Mistress was town.  Blah Blah Blah role claim and so forth, I won't get into that yet but she flipped town.  I can explain that my vote was solely because of Mish's over-townie looking post. I wanted to kick the game off and I did just that with my vote on Mish.  It was a weak reason but it seemed enough to get her to a strong bandwagon.  I believe that NyanCat's vote on Mistress was before mine and therefore was more likely a "joke vote" as it is said, although we all know there is always some strategy in the first votes of the game. 

 

Red agrees with me and we begin what both of us typically do.  Apply pressure; however, two things on that with regards to me.  1) I have not been back in a mafia game for a long time, so there is a lot of rust that I have to shake off.  2)  I am no longer the slacker college student/radio jockey I used to be.  A lot of my time and brain power is used being awesome at my new job.  I'm not gonna lie, I love what I do and I kick arse doing it.  It has become clear, however, that I do not have the time or extra mojo to be the Myndrunner I used to be.  Please understand, this is not an excuse for improper casing, just an explanation.  I haven't been able to keep up with this game as much as I would have liked to, and I thought I could fake it. 

 

Having said this, remember that logic and truth don't suddenly become untrue because it came out of my mouth.  The three major lynch trains from Day 1 were on people that I believe to be town.  Two of them I know to be town, myself and now Mishtress.  In my experience, lynch trains don't typically build up that fast unless the mafia is helping them along.  At the risk of people flipping out and slapping their grandmas for it, I am going to say again....Red might be scum, but I don't think she is as much as others in the game.   I am amazed at the number of so called players who think that statement is scummy when she was (at the time) the lead lynch train. 

 

I believe that Red is town.  I know I am town.  We all know that Mishtress was town.  There be a lot of scum on those trains.

Back to the story dammit.  Where were we?  Right, right, the Frey girl was floating downstream, the wedding was off, the Starks were enjoying the hospitality of the Freys like bloody baffoons, thinking honor would protect them and everyone else was halfway past drunk.  Well, night would abase those bleedin fools, and wake em it sure did.  Helman Tallhart was found ravaged in the stables, poor sod.  He was a stupid boy and couldn't well keep his nose out of things.  Well, that's the luck of it.  

 

Oh, and someone else died.  I can't remember his bloody name.  It was..  it was... bloody hell.  I've got no clue.  In any case the sun rose on death and Stark & Co. proceeded like this was a bleedin murder-mystery.
