Looking to narrow down the suspect pool and wanted to be sure I had everything.

With 8 players left and 2 likely scum, there will be 7 left after tonight, most likely. I will due so there will be 6 players left, and then 5 by the next day. Then it is lylo.

 

So after lynching me, you guys will have just one chance to get a mafia. Good luck :)

 

out of the remaining players, peace sticks out to me the most. Peace's weird argument with elf about the voting reason is still weird for me.

 

And, actually cloud looks bad to me now. The last person to defend me so vehemently when i was town was Des in the Settlers of Catan game, who was the cult leader lol. Not sure though, just noting it, becsuse everything else from him has been town.

 

Via was scummy before for her lurking, but she picked up a bit, but if i had to choose someone but peace, I would choose her.

 

For Tommy, maybe Nolder is right about him being an outspoken, aggressive mafia. I don't want to rule anyone out.

I was sleeping all day pretty much, no good excuse really other than I just wasn't awake.

Sucks Krak was town. I feel like maybe I should have done more to defend him but at the same time I feel like he wasn't doing too much to defend himself.

The first line comes across as a bit over the top to me Hoof,  the rest of it is basically saying that anyonw who hasn't claimed a role could be mafia, but in a lot of words

This is getting stupid. Keep it simple and go for the scummiest suspects. Hoof or Via are the top of my list. If you're not convinced, go back and read my summary from last day phase of why Hoof is the most likely to be scum. If that's not sufficient, read the entire thread over.

As for this Hoof train, it's obvious what's going on here.

Tommy and Peace are moving for the quick lynch.

How many townies need to jump on to seal the deal? Two?

Yeah no. Hoof vs Krak was town on town violence imo and it was win/win either way for the mafia since whichever one wasn't lynched would look good for the next days lynch.

Now they are just trying to wrap up the game counting on ill will from yesterdays trains.

hmmm I am uncertain that Peace is mafia. he did lead the lynch on Golden after all. He attacked cloud, but so did Krak.

Now, as I've said before I don't call what Peace did with Golden leading a lynch.

I would barely call it a valid reasoning. In fact, no, I don't.

His "case" on Golden, his main case, was meta. 

Remember they'd played only one game together previously and this was the first day of their second game.

And he's claiming to have a meta read on him. Does that really not strike anyone else as absurd?

It was mighty convenient that his "meta read" was dead on. There are coincidences that happen in this game but nabbing scum on day 1 based on meta?

That is almost unheard of even with players who know each other well. What are the odds of it happening between Golden and Peace? I feel like you'd have better odds winning the lottery.

3 mafia, 11 town, with a mason team, a doc and an innicent child? A mason team is roughly a cop in power, but the innocent child unbalances it in the town's favour, it seems. And there is no serial killer, evidently. A survivor isn't much of an anti-town replacement for an SK.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't remember Peace posting near the deadline.

It could be as simple as he wasn't around. Or, if he was, this is possibly the very reason he didn't move his vote.

Mafia do their best to do the unexpected and fake town out and bussing is one of the best tactics there is to gain quick trust.

Could also be he wasn't impressed with Goldeneyes play this game and he and the other mafia (still think it's Tom) decided they'd be better served cutting him loose.

 

I don't understand why this all seems less likely than "Peace had a once in a lifetime perfect meta read on a guy he doesn't know".

Yeah I dunno. 3/14 is within the 20-30% range for scum although it's on the low side, especially with the roles we have.

Maybe they have a Watcher or a Tracker to balance things out?

Nolder, your approach last phase was "anything but what Peace and Tom say!" and now you're doing it again. Your polarized stance unnecessarily got a townie lynched yesterday. How do you figure that your reasoning is appropriate or acceptable as we approach MyLo/LyLo? As I've explained, there's [very nearly] zero chance Peace and I could be scum-scum in this game, and I feel good about him not being scum. Re-read the beginning of the game and tell me again how Peace and I could be a scumteam because you're bordering on delusional. Once we lynch Hoof for the scum-flip I am going to expect a freshly baked humble pie.
