This made me laugh. A LOT. (Though the british version of this is perhaps more applicable)

Never was a truth more eloquently put. I was also destined to be the Pink Ranger when I grew up. It is known *nods*

they didn't have power rangers in sweden!?

for the record, though, the power rangers kinda sucked, and i never really liked them except to make fun of them. also, the red ranger is now doing porn of a specific niche.

on a recent jaunt through the mall, my sister and i were making fun of the come back fashions. i am worried to note that some of the things that died in the nineties aren't staying as dead as they should. rolled up shorts... super large plastic junk jewelery and head bands... the only thing that is missing from that style is the t-shirt clips for the over sized shirts that you wear with those leggings and scrunched socks ^...

Man, I hoarded those t-shirt clips. I can't remember actually wearing my t-shirt clipped outside of my bedroom though.

I remember the jeans with the abundant and colorful gel paint splatters all over them.

I remember wearing the overalls with only one strap fastened. Tres chic.

And I loved the sideways ponytail!

Ahh, man. The days of stirrup leggings and bodysuits.

I remember being a Babysitter's Club freak. I had a sweatshirt and charm necklace, and I think I owned all of the books at one time...

I feel so embarassed when I remember owning an Atari computer, or playing Sonic the Hedgehog on a Sega (Genesis?) At the time, I thought it was awesome.

Then there were the Giga Pets. I had three, I think. A Nano, a Giga Pet dog, and a lame, generic brand cat... My teacher took away my cat, so I always left the others at home after that. By the time I got back from school, though, they'd always be dead...

Stupid things.

Last Christmas, visiting my parents house, I got Transformers season 3 part two and season 4 on DVD. I was watching them a day or so later and my mom was in the kitchen in the next room.

She came in and said she just went back 20 years to when she came home from work and made dinner while I was watching Transformers on TV.
