We do not.

 

We live in a time, where the One Power is not even known to mankind, and neither is the Dark One. And stories about evils, like Satan, are the remaints of the stories about the Dark One.

 

In fact, there is only one Age were Saidin is tainted, and that's the Third Age, between the Breaking of the World and the end of A Memory of Light.

I'm unsure if that discussion is solved already. Most people think the Seventh or the First. I think I would go for the Seventh, as we have no Wolfbrothers, like there were in the first.

 

However, on the contrary, the stories that Thom talked about in The Eye of the World are about the Cold War and the journey to the moon, and one could say those should have been forgotten already.
