REVIEW
My uncle came into town a couple of weeks ago, and he asked me to make a reservation to anywhere I wanted.  I asked what kind of food he liked, and he said he loved French food.  I have never been to a French restaurant before, so I started googling.  There are several different French restaurants in San Diego it turns out, and so I looked at the menus for each one and decided on Hexagone.  We normally don't go to restaurants like this (my husband and I are Red Lobster people   But I wanted to try something new.)  I am so glad that I did!

The interior was inviting and relaxed.  I ordered a lobster bisque for my starter and Moscovy Breast of Duck with Leg Confit and Orange Sauce for my entree.   The bisque was excellent, so rich and creamy!  The duck was very tender, and the leg had a delightfully crisp skin on it.  My uncle is a wine nut, and so he picked our wine.  I normally don't like wine at all, but it was amazing!  For dessert I ordered a creme brulee.  It was heaven!

Our waiter was efficient, friendly, and very knowledgeable.  He was French, and we were able to have some conversation in French which made the night very fun. (I took french in high school and college.)  All in all, we had a very lovely and memorable night.

Overall Verdict
This is a wonderful restaurant!  I truly enjoyed the food and atmosphere here.  It is without a doubt the nicest restaurant I have ever been to.
