re Edric - i know we've discussed the merging of the plot lines.  the only thing that confuses me is Gendry is still alive and well in the books, though knows he's Roberts bastard; Edric Storm is dead.  i figured that Gendry had a larger role to play in the over all plot.  to me, him being killed in the show basically nixs that and spoils his arc for us book readers.

i said as much last episode in the other thread.

re-Talisa - that was an interesting clip and put in that context, especially the points about that note and lack of an accent, i can understand drawing that conclusion and find myself agreeing.  as far as if she dies, idk, we'll have to wait.  but if Talisa is a Lannister spy, then likely the Freys and Boltons will make sure she survives imo.  Robbs heir alive would be a useful pawn to Lannister plots, and would have more legit claim on the North than Sansa or Ayra.

heres a thoguth though.  what if Talisa is Tyrions original wife ....  now that would be a twist.

re-split - i missed hte memo on that.   here i was hoping for a double wammy on the red wedding  both Robb and joffs deaths ...  guess Joffs will be next season then  *pouts*

given the choice between the two, i'd rather see the little bastard choke.

Edric isn't dead. He's hiding in Lys. Dunno where you got the idea that he is dead from.

well its a Wiki link so i'm skeptical and will leave it up to my reread to know for sure.  but i thought i recalled Stannis letting the Red Lady sacrifice him and Edric not being sufficient because he was a bastard.  hence her going to the wall and targetting Mance's child.

if he is over in the free cities, i wonder if he'll meet up with Danny, Tyrion and Co.

on another note, i'm at the part of my re-read where Sansa and Joff take off and discover what Ayra's been doing.  a few things stood out.

first is the constant attention to Tyrions fascination with Dragons.  makes me damn near certain he's going to be a dragon rider.

next is during Neds talk with Robert out in the hills along the Kings Road.  Ned remarks inwardly while discussing Jamie "he'd lived with his lie for fourteen years". the chapter then goes on to mention Ned reliving his sisters final words and then cuts directly to a Jon chapter.

to me, this is further proof that Jon is Rhegar and Lyanna's son.  because there is no lie otherwise with Jon or anything shameful that Ned has been living with for fourteen years.  he didn't lie about sleeping with another woman and producing a bastard; so what is the lie there??   and Jon is fourteen years old at this point.

others have likely already pointed out this evidence, but its new to me so there

Davos sent Edric to Lys after he learned Joffrey, the third king, was dead. Then when Stannis asked him to explain himself, he revealed the Nightwatch's plea for help to the various Kings, which he knew about because he had been learning to read, as Hand of the King, by reading letters, amongst them the one from the Wall. Stannis being Stannis, he obviously feels obligated to go help, as he should. The fact that there's really nothing left for him in the south probably helps too.

Jon, and Bran are both skin walkers. It stands to reason, that a blood line trait.. just like danny and the dragons.

Now ask your self this.

He was thinking about his dead sister. While talking about Jaime. And living with a lie.

At this point, Ned knew about jaime the sister f***er....

no Ned didn't knwo about Jamie sleeping with his sister.  he didn't find out about that until they were in Kings Landing; i'm not to Kingslandign yet in my re-read, they're still traveling the Kingsroad.

and its not just Jon and Bran that are Wargs, Ayra is as well.    a funny thing is, that Bubba and i believe Benjen is a warg as well, which is while Cold Hands still has a human consious even though hes a walker.

makes you kinda wonder if Ned will eventually make another apperance via an animal *grins*

I know that if i'm ever in a car, with Sean Bean driving.. I'm going to be very, very freaking nervous... LOL

it was hyperbole.

plus, he's not really dead, just perpetually dying.

and yes, hot enough to keep him from ever getting cold.
