Who would you just love to face in a celebrity deathmatch?

I'm not sure about a Death Match, but I've always wanted to punch Kevin J. Anderson in the nose. Everything he touches turns to poo, somehow.

Hello Mumsy!

Name 5 countries you haven't been to yet (in the real world) and give for each of them a one-liner based on your general feelings towards that specific country.

Considering that I don't travel as much as I'd like, there's quite a few to choose from.

1. England- Little stuffy and formal, but awesome history

2. Australia- entirely peopled by criminals... I mean drunks. But everyone there seems fun.

3. China- Scary, totalitarianism. Somewhat crazy culture. Great food and art.

4. Japan- Sometimes when I see what passes for pornography there, I think maybe they deserved what we did to them in WWII. Jesus, that shit is fucked up.

5. Norway- I discovered recently that they have a word that means "uneasiness following debachary". Good to see the Vikings live on.

*looks at goldeneys*

Why me in a deathmatch??

Because of all the current Org Leaders, you are the one I seem to mess around with the most lately. Its only because Empy is "busy" with his "girlfriend" so I'm unable to knock him around right now.

Kath' date=' explain to me in detail the string theory[/quote']

At one time, I would have been able to. But now that I'm no longer taking or teaching physics, my grasp of quantum theory has gotten shakey.

Go read this instead: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/String_theory

what is your favorite superhero?

You know, I've never thought about it. If you mean "Anyone with superpowers who saves the world occasionally", it would definitely be Buffy, The Vampire Slayer. Buffy was ground breaking in so many ways when she first appeared, a true feminist icon. She managed to be powerful and comanding, as well as silly and girlish. Men weren't afraid of her power, and were in fact, a little turned on by it. So many other characters could not exist today, without that first archetypal "Ass kicking, tiny girl"

If you mean one of the classic, comic book super heroes, I think it would have to be Batman. He's really three characters. The caped vigilante who patrols Gotham by night, the playboy billionare without a care in the world, and then you've got Bruce Wayne, the guy holding them all together. Batman tends to have the most interesting villains and most interesting characterizations.

Also, I think Christian Bale in "Batman Begins" was incredibly, mouthwateringly hot. Seriously, I would forsaken my marriage vows for that man. Yowza.

so what are your thoughts on spiderman' date=' then?[/quote']

Spiderman works because he has real problems that being Spiderman can't solve. He has money problems, there's this girl, his best friend hates him due to a misunderstanding, etc. They aren't soul crushing problems, but they are things we can all understand. Every once in awhile, he gets to vent his frustrations by punching criminals in the face and playing harmless pranks on authority figures. What's not to love?

Your Seatness' date=' would you please give be a paragraph overview of quantum physics in your own words?[/quote']

What is it with you people and quantum physics today? Sheesh, ask me a history question next time, or something about economics. That's what I teach now.

Anyways, as I recall it, quantum physics is another way of explaining why things are they way they are. Newtonian physics deals with macros, things big enough for us to see. Quantum physics explains the behavior of things we can't see, mainly subatomic particles.

That's the best overview I can give right now. I can elaborate on some of the interesting examples of quantum physics, such as Schrodinger's Cat, but that's just a subset of this branch of science and not an adaquate explanation of it.

Are you getting bored during your school's Christmas break?

Not as much as you'd think. I've been hanging around DM more and catching up on things I neglected in the lead up to the end of the semester. I've been doing some house cleaning too. That's why I was able to take all those pictures for Cleo earlier. If I can get the upstairs clean, I'll post pictures of those rooms too.

I have some work I need to finish before Monday. I need to finish writing my report cards and calculating my grades. I also need to write my nine week plan for lessons. It'll be interesting, as I'm teaching language arts for the first time this semester and I'm not quite sure how I should do that yet. I know one class will be doing poetry and the other will be doing mythology. I'm not sure HOW yet. It'll come though.

Interesting question. There's quite a few possibilities there. I think I'd be most interested in talking to Moiraine, assuming I could get her when she's in a good mood and liable to open up. That woman just fascinates me. But that's not really your question, is it?

The character I'd most like to bring into the real world would be Sorilea. I'd let her teach my seventh grade world studies class for an afternoon. She'd have them all sitting up straight and stepping right in no time at all. And if I'm REALLY lucky, it'll last for longer than a week after she goes.
