It is insanely wunnerful to see how at home you've all made yourselves with us already :D

 

 

 

 

Hold on to your hats Matty people, there were NO promotions this month!

But not to panic, this is only because the obligatory Saidin class suddenly decided to hibernate for a bit - things should pick up again soon as sunshine :)

 

     

 

 

November's activities have included:    

 

~ BT mafia game - Cult managed an amazing victory, against all odds, so hats off there!    

 

~ The OP Tournament (which just finished) Winner winner chicken dinner JOHN SNOW!!!!! *wild applause* :D    

 

~  the Apples to Apples game is still going on!

 

~ this month's discussion was on Mental Illness, hosted by the lovely LilyElizabeth - thanks again!  

 

~ And as everyone has been aware, DM has been down rather a lot because of several DDOS attacks, and they upgraded the server etc. Glitches do still happen, but the admins are hard at work on everything - if you experience one that hasn't been posted, please notify them on the Bug Report Board. Thanks for your patience!      

 

Furthermore, in case DM is down and you simply CANNOT stand the lack of Taint and other awesomeness, life jackets are under your seats there are two options to still hang with some of us:    

- The DM ninjaboards, which are kind of like a fake and limited DM, but you can make fun threads and still chat.    

- And we have a snazzy Super-Secret DM Guild'o'Geeks Facebook group, if you would like to join you can PM me and I shall 'hook you up' as they say so prettily. However keep in mind this would mean sharing Facebook details, blahblahblah, so have a think about it first :) if you have questions I'm happy to help.      

 

AND ONE MORE thing: The server we had the OP battle rollers on disappeared, but they managed to get a new one. Thank you to TMD for conjuring up a new, updated roller for us!!

The BT is being decked out in shinies and baubles as we're counting down to the Tainted Days of Christmas! You can still sign up to this immensely fun crazy spin on the advent calendar!

(As you may remember, after reaching the milestone record of 100,000 posts in one thread in June, our new goal (as well as getting 200,000 posts in that thread too now), is to TOP the other two really active boards, in OVERALL REPLIES! The WT was 'defeated' in October, now only General Discussion remains to be conquered ...slowly but surely we’re closing the gap!)

This little thing took me AGES to post. It was a mess of coding that kept changing, adding coding, and taking other coding away every time I previewed it. So yeah, OVER THREE HOURS, including router dying, the quick sketch and trudging round the house barefoot in mud cos there were no shoes, to get to the scanner at midnight :P

There's still a couple of coding thingies but every time I correct one, another appears, or deletes something... bah. It's readable, and I have to get upo at 6 for milking >.> quarter past 1 now.
