A WHEEL OF TIME COMMUNITY

Greetings!

Hello everyone!

I've been lurking for a short while now, and finally decided to introduce myself :)

IRL I'm a graduate student studying Plant Breeding & Genetics. I'm a huge science nerd. But I'm also an attorney, so I'm currently working to mesh all of my interests into something worthy of a lifetime career.

I have been reading the WoT series for many years now and I've read it through several times. I'm a huge fan of this genre of books. My other all-time favourites are the Belgariad and the Mallorean series by David Eddings. In my free time I love to cook, read, play games, and garden. I've got two lovely cats and one charming husband. All in all, it's a happy life ;)

Anyway, I'm glad to be here and I look forward to getting to know many of you folks!

Hello, Calypsa... that CV sounds pretty impressive 8)

You'll enjoy the book discussions if you have read WoT for years... you'll find every theory under the sun on there somewhere. And please, do vote in the Asmo Poll... I keep hoping that more people will turn up that have the same 'intuitively obvious' suspect as me :D

I enjoyed the Eddings books, yoo :P . I love the character of Polgara (pity we don't see more of Poledra though... I thought she could have been given more center stage billing). My favourite scene is the one where Pol and C'Nedra find out that Belgarion has gone off without them... I cried tears. That scene would be so much fun in a film.

There are always ongoing discussions about books other than WoT on the General Discussion Board.

Anyway... good to see you.
