I have a HTC Wildfire. It´s around 2 years old. Usually I always load the battery every night but for 7 weeks I only loaded it a little now and then. Now the battery just doesn´t work. Even though I load it every night, the phone will stop working after a very short time. What can I do to fix it? Do I have to buy a new battery?

You could try a hard reset. Take out the battery and the sim card. Put the battery back in then turn it on. Then turn it off again. Remove the battery and put the sim back in. And then turn all back on.

Sometimes that gets phones working again.

Ehm... I would probably not understand that even if you spoke Swedish. I love my phone but I don´t understand anything about it.

So I tried Ithi´s advice. I removed the battery and the sim card. Put the battery back. After a while I removed it again and then put back both the battery and the sim card. The phone died again. That didn´t seem to work. I don´t think I have an external memory. So nothing to remove. Maybe it´s time to buy a new battery.

I just hope it doesn´t cost too much. Christmas is coming up so I just can´t throw money around me. Well, can´t do that normally either. But I need to have a phone that works.

I also recommend restoring factory defaults, then re download any updates. I had an htc Evo and that helped it function plus with battery life

I tried this too but it didn´t work either. I guess I just have to buy a new battery.
