Aelfinn and Eelfinn

I was reading through Knife of Dreams again, when I came across a passage that confused me. In Chapter 10, A Village in Shiota, when Mat is telling Thom, Noal, and Olver about his experience with the Aelfinn and the Eelfinn, he says that there was no need to tell them about the gifts from the Aelfinn or his answers from the Eelfinn. But earlier, I thought I had read that the Eelfinn were the ones who gave him the gifts and tried to hang him while the Aelfinn were the ones who answered his questions. Am I missing something, or is it just a mistake?

It is indeed a typo. The sentence in my hardback edition reads:

"Not about his answers from the Eelfinn, certainly, or his two gifts from the Aelfinn."

Knife of Dreams, chapter 10 A Village in Shiota (page 263 second paragraph for anyone trying to find it in the same edition [2005])

This is a typo. It should read "answers from the Aelfinn" and "gifts from the Eelfinn". So, you are not missing something.
