Help identifying old editions of tEotW & tGH

A while back I happened across some interesting looking hardcover copies of books 1 & 2 and my local used book store. I picked them up immediately, as I'm trying to collect together a full hardcover WoT set. After getting home with them, I took a closer look and found a few odd things:

- They are both a bit smaller than regular HC editions of WoT books

- No UPCs, barcodes, or ISBNs anywhere

- No library of congress info on the copyright pages

- Copyright date of 1990?

- tEotW back cover has a small box in the lower right corner that says "19548", tGH has the same, but it says "19547"

My only guess is that these are some sort of special Bookclub/Library editions, but I can’t find any info about them.

I uploaded some pics here: http://imgur.com/a/nNqO4

Pic 1 - The books in question compared to a regular sized hardcover & paperback (front)

Pic 2 - The books in question compared to a regular sized hardcover & paperback (spine)

Pic 3 - Copyright page of both books

Does anyone have any idea where they came from?

The ISBNs will definately tell you what your looking for, however the ISBNs are also commonly listed on the Copyright page, and it surprises me that there is very little detail on it. are you sure these are american copies?

They both say they are published by TOR, did TOR have international publishing rights to WoT in 1990? Also, they both say "Printed in the USA"
