BG, I think he is the best lynch today. Aside from his mafia behavior he has connections to a bunch of players so there is quite a bit of information to be gained from his lynch. I could go with one if the others I think mafia but much prefer Despo lynched today.

I targeted two people last night Turin, I didn't want to reveal but meh, I guess there's not much harm at this point. I targeted BG and Basel. BG I have a town read on at this point, not exactly sure why but he just seems to be more honest in his reactions, and Basel I got a town read on after I initially fos'd him. You see, he did something similar in the Executioner game on Thak, but after being questioned about it then he never really defended himself, and even admitted after being lynched that he often has trouble defending himself directly when fos'd as scum. Since he responded immediately and in a calm manner, I figured he was probably town this game. Unfortunately, I was told by AH that my action failed for both targets.

 

And even though I give my targets "gifts", AH never confirmed if they're actual items or just other useful type actions. And yes, it is a Night Action.

 

You "targeted" two townies with your action which both failed. There was no NK last night. The first post of the day was you WIFOMing how it could be good or bad there was no kill. At that point you start asking about why it failed. I believe I had said earlier that I thought it sounded like you were looking for answers why YOUR kill failed. This looks to be the case even more now. I do not buy your role claim at all. you are mafia, probably their triggerman.

 

Why would you not want to reveal who you visited(or attempted to visit)? There is information there for the town.

 

The talk of giving youtime to "vet" yourrole is typical "give me one more day" mafia behavior. tonight your action fails again or your "target" just hapens to get NKed or you take a big chance and get a teammate to step forward and claim you gifted them.

There would be no sense whatsoever in me making that post if I was the NK'er and saw my kills fail for some reason. It would draw all kinds of attention towards me, and if I was the mafia NK'er I'd be way too valuable to put myself out there like that.

 

I honestly thought that with a game with a lot of newer players, I'd have to spell everything out for people and explain how someone with a RB'er type role could help us catch scum. Don't know how many times I have to say this.

 

Despo, would you mind telling us who you are targeting tonight?

 

I've been contemplating that... I want to be full and out in the open with you guys, unfortunately letting you know who my target will be will just paint a big target on that person's back, since if the mafia take that person out, not only will they prevent me from vetting my claim, but it will also make me look that much more suspicious, and then they can drive my lynch tomorrow. I'm still wondering how I can pull this off.

You are using the "would I do that if mafia card"? The key to being successful is to mix it up. Why would you do it? Cause you have an inexperienced team and are trying to keep suss from them. Maybe you just couldn't help yourself from talking. Maybe you thought you could out some town roles and thought it worth the risk.

Then you are being less than forthcoming which means you can't be held to your words. Very mafia behavior.

Yeah, but Despo... if you are going to be lynched, then it defeats the purpose of being tight lipped. Sure telling us could have whatever consequences would happen if mafia does whatever... but that's the only real way we can vet you. Otherwise you could be making it up. Using your role as 100% on someone and letting us know who will vet you if they receive it. If they don't... well, you aren't any worse off than you are today. Either you get lynched today, or you at least give us a chance to vet you, then tomorrow if you aren't vetted then you'll ge lynched then anyway.

Dude, at this point Turin, I'm pretty sure you have to be scum. You've tunneled on me all game, and now seem to not want to give me a chance to vet my claim. The fact that you have been so sure about me the whole game, when I know I'm town, makes me think you really want to get me out of the picture for some reason. No townie would drill on one player that hard and not want to let them vet their claim unless that person is scum themselves and doesn't want to lose the chance to take me out before I clear myself.

 

Plus, I remembered something. The last time I heard someone talking about shaking their pom poms, it was when you and Ithi were both mafia together and were driving someone's lynch. Seems to be your go to phrase when trying to get someone lynched.

You've dropped hints all over the place that your pokemon is Teddiursa. "Plays with Teddies," "looks all cute and innocent," "puts paw in mouth." Teddiursa is a pokemon remembered for its seeming charm when it really is just playing the unlucky trainers. Granted that's not a lot in and of itself, but there're posts you've made that stick out. "oh oh don't forget to tell them how you're a member of Team Rocket!" That was in the same post as "plays with Teddies." Maybe I'm just seeing this in the wrong light, but you're point about proving volke c/p from a QT was pretty strong, but then you don't vote him, even after speculation that he is mafia and was acting on the orders of his teammates? Perhaps you were simply proving a point, but that reeks like a Reekfish. And, volke unvoted you for no other reason than the post you made that said "looks all cute and innocent." Why you do that, volke, unless you iz teammates? I'd love to know, really. Right now, you are looking not so well to me.

I have thought you mafia so as a member of the town of course I want to do everything I can to get you lynched. It is my job as a townie. If it takes my lynch and subsequent flip to get the rest of the town to see it that is okay. The way I see things right now is that one of three things will happen:

 

1. Preferred option: we lynch Despo and celebrate the death of a mafia.

 

2. I get lynched. I will flip town. Most likely BG gets killed tonight and Despo finally gets lynched tomorrow. If this happens please take your time with him and try to get some of his team to slip.

 

3. I get lynched. Flip town. BG backs up Despo claim. Then you have two mafia. Lynch one then the other. Hopefully the rest of the team falls apart without the most experienced players.

 

So lynch me if you must. My flip will seal your doom.

 

BTW. I only recall being mafia with ithi once and that was only for one day when she tricked Mynd. I am old tho do who knows?

I've seen Turin and Ithi act this way whenever they are dead set on an outcome. Not much can release the bulldog jaw clamp once it is down. Of course I've seen them use it as mafia and town equally. I suppose Mat isn't going anywhere today.

 

Turin, I really don't see a problem with trying to vet Despo. I realize that makes me a target, but I'm willing to risk it. Gifts often mean extra kill protection, cop viewings, etc. which are extremetly valueable. Your complete disregard for the fact is worrying.

Give me time to vet myself. I'm a good scumhunter. My role is too valuable. If he really trusted that I were mafia he would be willing to die to make his case. He is not because he knows I am town because he is mafia.

 

I only want town to win. I am willing to die to see it happens.

Roo, I am not saying that my role is too valuable. That is the impression I have from hearing Despo talk. I am vanilla town, which is why I feel fine trading myself for one mafia that is linked to several other suspects.

 

BG, I would rather not be killed today as I would rather lynch mafia (Despo). However right now not enough of the town believe me. Perhaps once they have seen that I am town they will decide it is time for Despo to go.

 

I could accept volke or EP if required but am most confident that Despo is mafia.
