As for my suggestion, I'm already voting BG. Tina was pinging me, her case on Turin seemed pretty weak to me, and I think at very least we'll get some good information from that lynch.

As for a random having a better chance at bagging scum, well, the lynch itself might not bag scum if I'm wrong about Tina/BG, but it will do a heck of a lot better at helping us find scum from examining the train and the arguments than if someone gets randomed that hasn't really participated in the discussion or been scrutinized.

Well crap people. 43 pages on Day 1. I just read it all. And Crap people, I don't even know what to think. I started quoting things, and then I realized I had over 40 quotes stockpiled and decided to dump it and started over from more recent posts. These cases would build up on people and then disappear for seemingly no reason, or people who I think were acting severely out of place keep getting passes for reasons I can't figure out. One person gives a simple "Nah, I don't reeeaaally think they are scummy..." and everyone is like, well, OK then! and unvotes.

 

Weird overreactions, fake claims, real claims, misunderstandings of roles, blah blah blah, sheesh. I come in and I've got the largest train when, speaking objectively, I thought Tina's casings seemed perfectly fine though I didn't necessarily agree with them completely. *faugh*

This is the single most suspicious post of the game. "I'm genuine, except when I'm random." That says nothing and is not a good response to the questions posed to you.

 

"I have a power that will vet me. Do you want to risk that?" Umm.... I don't get how that's a risk now. You just told the mafia you have a great power that made you a target. Whether you tell us or not, you put yourself on a mafia watchlist. If you want to make yourself a target, then great. Sometimes that is a valid strategy.

Yesh as I've said before it was a stupid mistake for me to half-claim so early, I shouldnt have worried so fast, when there wasn't all too much pressure on me yet anyway...

Sooo..oof, I have several people on my slate (not to steal Ithis list ) but no one REALLY convinces me of being scummeh. Im going with gut feeling atm (a very underdeveloped gut feeling i know... :P)

 

As someones said before, everyone keeps voting and unvoting and letting accusations slide. This makes it hard for me to form a proper opinion...

 

From the few pages Ive reread, Ive decided Tina's past behaviour pinged me most. Granted, her silence after she 'cased' Turin may have been due to busyness that resulted in her leaving this game, but still...i dunno, its partly because more experienced members have convinced me with their reasoning, and partly because it feels pingy too...Vote former Tina/BG

note, i'm not doing this because BG voted me, he is right in a way that my fluffheadedness till now couldcome off as pinging. Or its what Ive done in all games till now. Ive decided it could be a useful pokerface to find out whats really going on.

On an unrelated note - I do not think you should be 'claiming' or hinting about your role in this game outside of the game Thread. That just feels wrong.

 

What plays in Mafia, stays in Mafia. If we don't all stop when the light turns Red, this game just doesn't work.

 

Did this happen? If so, isn't it fair that everyone knows what the hint was outside the game?

I just realized that I never addressed this on thread: I reviewed what the "hint" was and though it was pokemon related I didn't see it as something which specifically pertained to this game. (In case you really want to know, Firebird was asked what his favorite was and he said that it was, at the moment, Psyduck. Considering that there was a stretch of time about a year ago when my favorite pokemon changed about every ten minutes, I do not think he was trying to connect the comment to the game. If he comes forward and admits that he was, he'll get one of my PRs. )

Day one ONLY ever gives a townie kill? NO NO NO! That's just lazy. It is not true at all. Just so not true. Plus this Day 1 has gone on 10X longer than most day ones post wise.

 

I think I've asked before (when others started doubting this): give me one time a good mafia team (I'll even accept one that only survived a couple of days) let one of them get lynched day 1. And read the entire quote: "Unless mafia makes a big mistake, ..."

 

And day 1 may be long, yes, but I've never seen a day one of less than 10-20 pages. This game is not really an exception in that regard.
