I'm still not one hundred percent sure though.

 

But you all seem like a bunch of corky and serene peeps here though *big smiles*

I'm sure I'd be able to fit right in

oh, hihi..well I'm still contemplating what to join..and if I have the time for it or not. I got a few school stuff to do.

 

ahh, right. well, I'll prolly read more to choose the correct one. ^^

I've actually been on DM for many years..on and off though, through the years. Ever since 2001 :)

So, I'm an oldie coming back.

You only use as much time here as you have and want to. The only thing you HAVE to do, to advance from initiate to novice (or the warder equivalent wich I cannot remember right now), is the Aspirat class, it goes for four weeks but it doesn't take much time really. But you rise in the ranks at your own leisure; no time pressure anywhere.

You still got some time to choose :) It's not until you're done with your DM World class that you choose your path. If you join now you can probably be in the May-class if evrything happens quick, so then you still got over a month to decide. So first you sign up in the sticky thread in this forum, then you wait a couple days or so to get access to the forums, you'll get assigned a house (Im in Trehelion), and then you sign up for a World class when you feel like it. When you graduate that class, after 4 weeks, then you choose your path.

I am Millon. I am a full member of the Warders known as Der'Manshima. As the Aes Sedai have Novices and Accepted we have Algai and Manshima *winks at Misheru* Got ya covered kid.

 

If you have any questions or anything I would be happy to help. Just shoot me a PM or something. As they said up there ^^^ you have as much time as you need. You don't even have to join a faction as yet to participate. Float around, get to know some people, feel the areas out. The class that you are expected to take is a feild trip. You will be asked to go to each Ajah and, for the Warder side we have Disciplines. Three of them. I am of the Cuen'deren Discipline. There is also Ren'shai and the Me'Arearth. You will be asked to visit all these areas and participate in introducing yourself and asking whatever questions you may have for each group. I think you will be pleasantly surprised about the similarities and differences each Ajah has with the book Ajah. If time is an issue just check things out on your own so that once a class becomes available you will already have a great idea of where everything is and it won't be so much a time issue for you to participate. The class is really just to help familiarize yourself with the lay out, ALLL the stickies (yes, read all of them. Saves on confusion and the need to correct ya should the need arise), and to see just where you may or may not fit in.

 

Also, don't feel like you are stuck once you join a path. There are those who have asked to change track. I would recommend you take as much time as needed instead of doing that though. Feel the place out and find your home. It's a great pleasure to meet ya!

What is a colour fest? I'm curious.

 

Also, if you're going to be a warder, watch out for the Reds, especially Mashira, and Mystica and Pankhuri. And the Greens. And the Yellows. And everybody else.
