I couldnt find any photos of my clyde mare on this laptop, but in the meantime...this is my pride and joy lol, my likkle 3 yr old colt Baton Piccolo (Picco or Pix for short). I am training him atm, and will soon be riding him around! He has an ultra-coolpersonality, takes everything in his stride with remarkable calmness for a stallion...and learns freakishly fast. Totally sweet cuddly personality, LOVE HIM TO BITS!!! *forcibly gags self to end gushiness*

He was a really tiny baby, and is still short for his age (14 hands, so still pony size, but his parents were bigger) He'll still grow, and if not, that's okay too - he can just be my likkle 'express pony'

Aaanyway, pictures! I have put in spoiler tags because I couldn't stop myself from posting...several... in the end  And these were taken on my ipod, so please excuse the poor quality, but I have been planning to go on photography rampage around the farm soon anyway >.>

p.s. sorry, they are huge O.o

Not so fond of water:

Pix ooking very sorry for himself during a bath

IMG_2708.jpg

But being a diva after because he thinks towels are a fashion statement >.>

IMG_2715.jpg

As a baby:

*has SQUEEE attack* (We got him when he was half a year old so i never saw him like this)

Being a sillybilly:

He yawns aaaall the time, apparently a sign he feels safe, although at first I thought he was always bored. But he does it so often its ridiculous.

Picco has a lot of curiousity for any obect, here he is posing fascinated with my bike :P

I don't have a picture of my dog on Facebook for whatever reason (I need to fix that as soon as I get home) and I also do not have any recent pictures of the puppies, but here they are when they were a few weeks old (the brown ones are ours and then the black ones were the sisters that we didn't adopt):

Then a few months old (which is a little over two years ago now :P ):

Nyanna, He is beautiful! Did I mention I love horses? Oh, yeah I think I did  Great pix!

Heart, your puppies are too cute and your bunny made me awwwwww! I was actually thinking of getting a bunny for my son (that's my excuse anyway lol) are they very hard to take care of?

I've not been home much since we got them (the day we got them was the last day of winter break for me but I helped take care of them over spring break) so I'm not as much as an expert as my sis or dad would be, but here's what I can think of:

The worst part is...

They eat quite a bit and poop A LOT but they can be litterbox trained (ours are for peeing but for some reason they haven't figured out the other part yet :P ) and even if they don't poop in the litter box it tends to just be very hard little balls that you can just pick up--of course cleaning hands afterwards.

Other than that you want to clean out the cage routinely anyway which can be a bit of a chore.

Dutch bunnies (which is what mine is) don't need very much maintenance such as grooming or anything. It's good for them to have a place to run/hop around though. We have a corner of our basement fenced off for them to hop around in. We might take them outside some once it gets warmer.

Oh, and btw, they like carrots but they aren't the most healthy things. They aren't exactly unhealthy but other fruits and veggies are better. I believe my dad said bananas were very good.

My bunny is very friendly and good about being held and also really loves hopping all over the place. My sister's isn't as hoppity and, while it still is fine with being held, is less friendly about it.

So, if you can get past all of the cleanup and stuff that is required, they're pretty good pets to have and my 6 year old brother has as much fun with them as we do I think :P

I've had twelve rats in total.

Ker-fluffles , Artemisia, Jiffy-Pop, Shamu, Thelonius, Telegram Sam, Lucretia, Phronesis, Lester, and Oswald Spengler are all no longer with me.

Diotima and Echolalia are my current pair. I wanted to name them Pellinor and Glatisant but it didn't seem right.

Rats suffer any number of maladies and disorders in their brief lives of three years. They are prone to respiratory infections and they get tumors like teenagers get acne. I try to give them the best lives a rat could want - just in case anyone is wondering why the list of deceased is so long.

And extra kudos to anyone who guesses where any rat name comes from.

Aawwwww love them pets! My favourite so far is Brandie's kitty, though - what an awesome pose! Or maybe it's Ed's Sam ... or Screamin's horsies ... oh man can't pick! lol

I do miss having kitties :(

Okay, I'm in love with the name Echolalia! Does s/he squeak when you do? Will you name one Echopraxia?

Will post pics of my pups soon... well... more like eventually...

Actually, yes she does. Rat squeeks are very high pitched but she will respond if you talk to her. None of the others have ever done that, either.

Oh and this little guy is mine part of the year because I'm the summer nanny at his humans' house (and the kids actually call me Mary Poppins sometimes :P )

when I went over there while I was home for spring break I a) had a 7 year old run down the sidewalk at me screaming and proceeded to be tackle hugged (her brother didn't scream, but ran and hugged me too) and b) Luke here was running around me in circles and jumping and so excited that I couldn't even pet him. He's quite a bit bigger than this now but still a little dog, being a Westie and all
