Okay, so who else has a longdrop?

Im growing up on a 90% self-sustainable farm, so I guess I'm so used to it I dont think much about it. But that got me thinking; What do you do to be environmentally friendly and self-sustainable?

C'mon own up, COOL LONGDROP PEOPLE UNITE!!!

I pick up trash flying around on campus and recycle try not to have the large light too often--just my little lamp

I've made us a recycling household. :) we also use energy efficient bulbs and turn everything off when not using it. I try to keep the tv downstairs unplugged unless we are using it. Also, my car is very fuel efficient.

I recycle the trash. When I don´t want stuff I give it away or sell it instead of throwing it away. I also buy things in second hand stores sometimes. I try to buy as much ecological food as I can afford. There are a lot of ecological alternatives now days but unfortunately they are more expensive. I believe ecological food with less toxics are better for both nature and us that eat it.

I give a small amount of money each month to a tree project in Tanzania. The desert is slowly getting bigger. By planting new trees they can stop the desert for spreading.

I´m not in any way self-sustainable. I had some tomatoes on my balcony last year but that is as far as I get. I´m a city girl. I help my bf with his cultivations sometimes though because I like working in the garden when I can choose so myself. I would hate to have to work in the garden the whole year but a visit now and then is great.
