Meesh my little squicken you would be a friendly playful ghost, and even do my ironing for me

If that's what you want to believe...

Also, I said it on the Light board but I realize most of you aren't Lighties...I'm planning on visiting England this fall, for 3ish weeks, I think, and I would REALLY like to meet as many of you folks as I can.

WELP, it depends on you guys, actually. I did tons of research last year and I found good resources to help me plan the trip, and I actually have a default trip plan that would take me pretty much all over England in 3 weeks. Uhh...I can't find a link to it, but it's in my guidebook...I was gonna start with that as my basic itinerary and make modifications to it depending on who I'm visiting, when, and where.

Also, any suggestions y'all have would be nice.

So, basically, I'm visiting all over. XD I can go anywhere. It's flexible at this point.

Hmm...Architecture would be awesome, History as well, because there's so much of it compared to here in the U.S....

I do love Art, although I've found that if it's visual art, unless it's exceptional, famous, and/or rather eccentric or really cool or something, I don't actually get much of a kick out of looking at it (art museums are kind of a neutral thing for me). But the performing arts, I love.

Hmm, what am I looking to experience when I visit...well, primarily I want to meet people. Not just people I know, but people in general. Aside from that...that's a good question. Culture is a big part of it for me, I guess. What is it like living there, ya know? And then touristy stuff like visiting major historical sites, awesome scenery, a museum or two...I'm going to be taking a lot of pictures of as much as I can, if that helps. XD

Well a good one is Stonehenge, only 5000 years old. And Avebury, another bunch of stones.

There are some good museums in London, the natural museum and science one. Of course there are some great sites in London that are a must. Buckingham Palace, some of the gardens, Tower of London, The London Eye. If you can afford it, a show in the West End, but not cheap, unless you hang around outside asking if there is a spare ticket and you could get it cheaper.

There are some lovely country estates, and some lovely old castles all over the country, especially in Wales.

Liverpoosl has some sites as well...Edinburgh is lovely too. The Lake District is a lovely area as well. We'll have to have a special thread and people can post places which you could visit...in fact...
