Black Tower Divisions

The divisions of the Aes Sedai are called Ajah's , but what are the Divisions of the Black Tower called???

AJAH's ??? please not that,,, that is a girly girl name...

How about CLANS or Tribes maybe,,, what do you think ,,, I think Clans sounds manly enough for the Black Tower and the Asha'man ...

But what would each Division be called to identify that particular division,,, the Aes'Sedai call their individual divisions by a color,,, White Ajah and Blue Ajah ect. ,,, but the Asha'man need to use a Different type of Designation that is for guy's not girls,,, like maybe:

Bear Clan

Eagle Clan

Lion Clan

Wolf Clan

Orca Clan

Otter Clan

Owl Clan

Horse Clan

Bull Clan

and you could call the DARK FRIEND CLAN the RAT CLAN

: and by the way how many divisions are there in the Black Tower any way 5 or 12 or what???[/b]

the black tower does not yet have any divisions. i suspect that they never really will, as they are set of in a milartistic fashion, oh they may have specialists in certain areas such as healers, or negotiaters, but they will function, together, like a military unit.

as far as the aes sedai ajahs go; ther are seven of them, each with its own purpose and color.

blue = politics

red = hunters for males able to chanel

green = warriors

white = statistics/logic

brown = historians/scholars

grey = negotiators

yellow = healers

The whites also study philosophy, of which logic is a part.

I too do not see the Black Tower developing internal devisions...

ajah, incidently, is not a 'girly-girl' name, its from the age of Legends and was applicable to both men and women. It means a small group aligned with common purpose.

Finally whats with the upsurge of rampant mysoginism on the board... all this talk of girly-girls and manly-men and putting Cadsuane and Moiraine and Egwene in their places, and get upset when people dont worship Rand as the God-king of the universe...

Am i the only one to have noticed this recent trend?

Yep Luckers your the only one who noticed and also one of the serrious set who can't see a Joke when it is typed , LOL

as to Divisions , there are already Divisions in the Black Tower;

(1) Mazrim Taim's crew

(2) Logain Ablar's crew

(3) and the several groups of Asha'man not aligned with either Taim or Logain

(4) and the Dark Friends crew

I think there have to also already be Divisions taking place along lines of interest such as healers and maybe along political lines as well such as the ones who want to be bosses and the ones who want a more comunistic attitude(cain't we all just get along) by the way Comunisim was orriginaly invented by the Early Christians ,,, see the KJV Holy Bible book of ACTS chapter 1,2 & 3,,, Karl Marx ripped it off from them and tried to sell it as Scientific form of Government,,, and the Idea of FREE ENTERPRISE and Open Market ect. originated with the Carthaginians of which the Philistines were a member set of city states (yes the same guys who used to terrorize the Jewish people) History sure is twisted

I have not seen any hard evidence that Mazrim Taim is a Dark friend or a Forsaken.

and Rand's/Lews Therin's reaction to Taim could be a memory of a man that LTT knew back in the day who was not a follower of LTT but also not a DF or Forsaken...

Taim could be the re-incarnation of someone on the side of light who oppossed LTT and was jealous and envious of him, someone who wanted to have his own superior power and posistion without kowtowing to LTT, LTT could blame that man for many failure's and losses and wish that he had killed him and want to kill him now...

I am undecided on the issue, but when it is finaly revealed I hope I can find a way to say I knew it all along :lol:

I think that I have to agree with Luckers on this one. Is it so bad that a book series actually has women in it that have power. They have there own views and needs that go into why they do what they do, they dont all worship Rand like he is a god, it's not the end of the world.

I think that Taim is a dark friend or a recently raised forsaken. When he was captured he was broke out by Black Sisters, they could of just told him he either gets gentled or he works for the Dark. it would be and easy choice for a man thinking of that fate. he must of been given some high place near a forsaken cause of the power he has and position with Rand.

When Elidia (sry bout spelling) has the fortelling about the Black Tower burning it will be when Rand comes back to the Black Tower and Taim and his followers that he has trained personaly attack and try to kill rand. But the Min's vision things say that Logain will be powerful some day or something along those lines. Logain and his men will side with Rand and in turn he will become Rands' right hand man and the Leader of the Black Tower. At least thats how I think it will turn out.

So, Taim giving Kisman the exact same order as Demandred in Winter's Heart and then saying "Let the Lord of Chaos rule" in Knife of Dreams isn't evidence? I'm not saying Taim is absolutely a darkfriend but come on you can't say there hasn't been any evidence at all.

When it is finally revealed I doubt you will even be able to understand it. Then you will come here with another of your crazy theories and someone will be foolish enough to give you some reference quotes maybe you'll take your medicine and get some input from your psychologist then you'll come back still arguing against the direct quotes and saying Taim is actually Lews Therin's long lost brother reincarnated. By the way, ROFL to this topic too and not because of Crazy Mike's 'joke' earlier.

KaptainKaos , get a life because you certainly fail at being a prophet , what I may or may not do in the future is beyond your meger and feeble mind to predict,,, and again your misunderstanding of what I said is evidence of your low intelect.

"HARD EVIDENCE"

Hard Evidence means something more than possibilities to me...

Enough of this childish bickering. Disagreeing with someone is one thing, throwing insults is a completely different thing.

Behave. All of you.

However low my intellect I was going by what the english dictionary describes evidence to mean (evidence- that which tends to prove or disprove something; grounds for belief) not what Crazy Mike describes evidence to mean. The two things I mentioned that involve Taim tend to prove that he is definitely more likely on the side of the Shadow than the side of the Light and they also can give anyone grounds for belief therefore according to the definition above it is evidence whether you believe it to be or not.

By the way even with my 'low intelect' and my 'meger and feeble mind' I still know how to spell intellect and meager without spell check.
