It seems as if Sylvase is pulling a Verin and using expectations to hide who she really is and what she is really after, but does she have a hidden motive for doing things that we are unaware of, or is she simply hiding behind a mask to convince others to underestimate her.

Alanna would fit really well but i wonder if Rands strong enough to hurt df's just by being in their presence wouldnt it turn Alanna into a vegetable being linked to him through the bond? Seems to me that he would at least be able to feel the taint in her through the bond.
