Hi I'm Mhay. .

 

i really love this series so much

i think it was fate that brought

me and WOT together. .

i was in a bookstore near our place

looking for a book worth reading

when i saw EOTW (with it's original cover;

the black one with the snake biting it's tail)

i was so captivated by it's cover that i bought it.

when i was reading the story i find it quite boring

and i took me time to adjust to the way

Robert Jordan wrote it( you see i'm a filipino,

so i find it hard to understand some

of the english word because its quite deep, but that's only AT FIRST)

eventually i got used to how R. Jordan deliver the story.

one day i just found myself enjoying every chapters.

i just found myself craving for more,

 

i also encouraged some of my friends

to read this . . . . we have the same

problem at the beginning

but then they were so thankful

that i offer this book to them

because they just love it so much

 

i just finished reading book 4

and now i'm looking for book 5

and i tell you, it was so hard

(you see i'm targeting

secondhand one because

the price is cheap, i'm kinda low on

budget he! he ! he! )

 

i can't wait for the movie

i had been waiting for this

since i've read EOTW. .

i hope the movie will be as exciting as the BOOK

 

i just can't wait

With any new author there's some getting used to the writing style for everyone. I'm glad you liked it though!!

 

I'm glad you were successful in brainwashing converting convincing your friends to read it as well. I've only been able to get one of mine to read it. Have any of them gotten on dragonmount yet

 

The movie's moving slowly right now, so we're not sure if it'll happen, and they'd have to do it right or they'd have major international rioting on their hands ;)

 

A little bit about the site: the three sections are the general boards where you can talk about the book, the social boards where you just interact and have fun, and the roleplaying (or rp) boards where you can write your own adventure and interact with other people's characters and stuff. You can just poke around and see what interests you and which groups you'd like to join :)

 

So which parts have been your favorite so far? Which characters are your favorites?

Believe me - you dont want to spoil it for yourself on your first read through.

Something about your first read through of WoT is kinda "magical" - you dont wanna wreck that.

It's so awesome that you actually managed to addict your friends to WoT too. I've tried it as well but even those of my friends who love reading aren't interested in it
