The Dark Prophecies vs the Seanchan prophecies

A thought that just appeared to me:

In Towers of Midnight, we see Moridin let Graendal see a book with the Dark Prophecies when he give her the mission to kill Perrin.

We also know from one of the Forsaken get-togethers that they have influences of the the Seanchan. We know one of the Forsaken was impersonating the daughter on the nine moons at least.

Could it be that this prophexy that the dragon must kneel to the Crystal Throne is part of the Dark Prophecies?

 

How do someone know what is a Light and a Dark Prophecy?

 

Could it be that the Seanchan have the Dark Prophecies? Or, just a part of it at least?

Dark Prophecy at times seems to speak good of the Dark One and/or of the Dark side.

 

Long ago I speculated that Seanchan's prophecies were corrupted by Ishamael.

 

 

Light sided Prophecy seem to come in these forms::

-Foretelling

-Dreams

-Viewings

Ishy changed phrases in the original light prophecies when Luthair Hawkwing went across the sea, that is why you get the kneel before the crystal throne.

 

The light side prophecies are original in randland, the dark prophecies are all original also.

I think you hit the nail right on the head there.

Ishy says he is responsible for sending the armies across the ocean in the first place with the copies of the KC they took with them being the most plausible and accessible for Ishy to corrupt.

However, it should also be noted that while it's highly likely their KC was corrupted, their Essanik Cycle has been said to be mostly a collection of damane fortellings over the last 1000 years or so and should be relatively accurate.

 

We simply don't know enough of the Seanchan prophecies to know which is which.

Ishy influenced the one of Hawkwing's sons who went over the ocean to the Seanchan. He manipulated him to go there and included a corrupted prophecy.

 

We also know that Ishy influenced another son to go to Shara, which we have never heard anymore of. Did this army also get a corrupted prophecy?

Actually, a daughter went to Shara; not a son.

 

And it was actually through Hawkwing that both children were sent; not Ishamael directly sending.
