Make your friends read WoT

  1. 1. Have you made one or more of your friends read WoT?

    • Yes, I have!
    • No, I am a failure.

I voted yes for two reasons:

1)I consider several DM people to be friends...=p ;)

2)It's not me that's a failure, it's my stupid RL friends. *nod nods* (I've actually given tEotW to 3 people. One read it, said it was awesomely amazing tastic and still hasn't read the second. The other had it for like a year before finally giving it back. She read like 3 chapters (*rolls eyes*). The last still has it and, while actually reading it, is taking forever. I don't get how in the world he hasn't finished it yet. And he's not even halfway. End rant)

I tried to get my hubby to read it, he won't though because he's a slow reader and is daunted by the size of the books.

I don't bother with my in-laws, they're more interested in food and dumb-arse reality shows to crack open a book, much less one the size of WoT.

MY dad read it first in my family, gave it to my brother, who gave it to my sister, who gave it to me. Since then I have gotten 4 people to read book 1, and the only person who has moved on from there is my current boyfriend, who is now on book 3. I'm proud of him, he is totally hooked

Good job Adella!

This is random, but your posts always appear in blue letters. Is there a reason for that?

My letters are inside the code [ color=#14268F ] [ /color ] (no spaces, although you can't see the code when you quote my posts since the switch from SMF forums)

As to why, I switched for fun awhile ago and liked it enough to keep it up. I've had it for so long now that I can't imagine NOT posting in #14268F. (like Reyler from Fiddlesticks) Although, admittedly, I'm considering switching to a darker blue since these forum boards are white as opposed to the tanish colour of DM7.

That answer your question?
