First post.

 

Thought id share with you guys a song i heard for the first time today while i was starting book 6. When i first heard it i thought of all the main characters together relaxing without all their worries.

intersting song, have never heard it before and i like it. i can see where it fits too

 

there was a thread in the WoT GD board about songs that reminded people of the series; but i think it's too burried to go find a link to. so i'll re-post my own here

 

 

first is for the Last Battle.

with "We Will Rock You" i can see the Aiel eating spears to bucklers keepign the beat; along with the Band as well. maybe Rand or Matt taking up the lead on lyrics. and Perrin taking his awesome Hammer and doign a guitar solo.

 

 

then "We are the Champions" is at the end. everyone is on Dragonmount, with Rand at the top singing. Aiel hold their spears up high, AS holding balls of light in the air (concert style) everyone swaying back & forth.

 

the camera pans out to show all of Dragonmount covered in suvivors, singign with Rand. then the Camera pans out to the battle grounds and follows a leaf that blows on a wind and the credits roll.

hehehe, this is Mordin singing. its from a scene in tGH, when he's addressing the Darkfriends about Rand, Matt & Perrin. the Fades & Drakarh are tapping feet/talons and bobbing their heads to the beat as Mordin sings.

 

then during the lyric break, the DF's shuffle out, leaving on the Forsaken; who Mordin addresses with the "I can stand this indecision parried with a lack of vision" lmao

and my last one. is the same scene, but two different songs. the scene is from LoC when Rand is in the box.
