Three on a Boat

I've always wondered about the Three on a Boat Viewing.

I never understood why they were on a boat, until now.

Nicola's Viewing/Foretelling

LoC,Ch14 - "The lion sword, the dedicated spear, she who sees beyond. Three on the boat, and he who is dead yet lives. The great battle done, but the world not done with battle.

The land divided by the return, and the guardians balance the servants. The future teeters on the edge of a blade."

Maybe I'm a little slow, but it finally hit me.

I always pictured the three girls staring down over Rand on a funeral boat, before sending it off ablaze.

Now I get what the viewing was about. It wasn't the three girls staring down at Rand.

It was all three on a boat +1, because all 4 are dead. All four are being cremated together.

I also don't think it's the 3 girls we think.

I think it's Gawyn, Aviendha, and Min.

or possibly any of these:

Gawyn or Elayne - Lion Sword - probably Gawyn (Egwene's Dream: Down one path he'll marry Egwene, down the other he won't / down one path he'll live a long life, down the other he'll die a violent death - my guess he marries and dies violently)

Min and any female Dreamer / Foreteller - She who sees beyond.

Gaul, Aveindha - Dedicated Spear - Gaul is the only one that carries the spear of those two now, and has been as dedicated as any of them.

Perrin

or Rand - He who is dead, yet lives.

- Dark Prophecy makes us believe Perrin will die - His Soul may live on in the wolf dream.

I believe that this passage actually refers to 5 people:

The three are the three women genrally thought to be;

The person that is dead, yet lives is LT; and,

The fifth person is Rand, and he is the boat.

I also think that this has already come to pass, but don't want to say more in fear of spoilers.

Already come to pass?

now i'm interested. Is there a topic about it somewhere in the Spoiler section?

Aiel Wise Ones had a Dream of a similar prophecy.

Revealed in Lord of Chaos Chapter 19.

Rand on a boat with 3 women.

To me boat symbolizes that they are in the same situation.

The 3 women in both prophecies to me seem to be Rand's 3 lovers.

One event that might fulfill both might be their wedding.

Ok, then what about "the great battle done" ?
Nicola's Foretelling seem to have a number of different events. I was referring to the boat part of the Foretelling.

Great Battle could be Tarmon Gaidon or a earlier battle after the Foretelling. The books do not tell which.
