I have noticed, though that people get married and have children in batches,

My great-grandpa was the last of 18 kids.

my mom didn't get married until i was 20. great grandma and great grandpa didn't have such a happy marriage i think, so we lost the inclination.

 

gee, Locke, they'd have a TV show if that happened today. but it's less common since they figured out what was causing it. s
