Fist time poster, long time lurker. as soon as I read about mat losing his eye this topic came to me and I had to post the observation. I know it doesn't quite fit since Perrin no longer holds his axe, but come on. who else saw this cute little allusion?

What would be cool is if BS wrote a card game into AMofL, instead of constant dicing, and referrenced those nicknames.

Now that you mention that, what cards attacked Mat during the bubble of evil when he was playing with the young nobles?

 

 

The difference being with the WOT cards there should be only 1 "one eyed jack" (unless you want to somehow work Uno into the game) and two potential suicide kings (Rand & Lan).
