Hannibal King - Member Share Posted September 12, 2006 Okay. This is easy enough. What music are you listening to or what is the last song you listened to? List the song and the artist. Trust me, it's a great way to find new bands and artists. How Can I Live-- Ill Nino Hard Rock fans check it out! AWESOME SONG! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7_onsfLlLaM
Kadere - Member Share Posted September 12, 2006 Last song I listened to was "No it isn't" by (+44) the new band from Mark Hoppus and Travis Barker, two of the three guys from Blink 182. If you're a fan of Blink and haven't heard of this band yet you can learn more here (and hear the song): http://www.plus-44.com/ The albulm comes out in October! the dude - Member Share Posted September 12, 2006 monkey, you know the tea party? awesome! you're the first here who seems to know who they are. now, the important question. favorite album?
MetalMonkeyMood - Member Share Posted September 12, 2006 Triptych is my favourite, I listen to Halcyon Days and Samsara at least twice a day. Middle Eastern influence and all you know... I like Transmission as well though, especially Psychopomp. Only albums I got, a bit difficult to get a hold of them here. Any advice you can give me on what else I should get? I'll get my parental units to bring them over when they come back.
the dude - Member Share Posted September 12, 2006 you almost lost me when you said triptych, but you listed halcyon days as a favorite; good man. transmission's ok, but was sort of the beginning of the end, in my book. the ones you must, MUST check out, are their first album, "splendor solis" and their masterpiece album, "edges of twilight" those are frickin' gold, man. i think you'll enjoy those, man. Couldn't stay and face the music, so many reasons why I won't be sending postcards from Paraguay."
