Keep in mind guys, Jason had to have the script/story board ready to go in April, before Brandon had even finished the book. So don't nitpick for details the way you might a movie trailer. Just because something is in trailer doesn't mean it's in the book and vice versa. Some elements are likely included simply because they look cool.

Moiraine's also outside the Tower of Ghenjei before they rescue her. <img src='http://www.dragonmount.com/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':P' />

The trailer is thematic, not literal.

That is her getting ready to ride to Rand on a white horse ala Gandalf.

More likely that's an assumption that there is another ToG on the other side, just like there is another red stone doorway to go back through.

It totally is literal... I mean that is Moraine on her way to the two rivers to discover the dragon reborn with an overlaid voice of when she wrote the letter. It can't be her in ToM because who knows if she is even still alive! All they have is an old letter from her... *Laughs wickedly*

Okay, I just learned about the trailer and the making-of article from Brandon's blog post.

1. This trailer is GREAT! Nice visuals, good choice of passage for the narration, generally just good at increasing hype for the book.

2. Woah, Moiraine's actress is gorgeous.

3. The voice acting didn't fit my concept of what Moiraine should sound like, but I guess you can't please everybody.

4. Nitpick: Aldieb wasn't a small horse, except in Darrell Sweet's imagination - in the text she was a big horse. Not that it really matters or takes anything away from the trailer.
