Apparently, death means nothing to a Jedi apprentice. After meeting his demise in the Force Unleashed, you’d think that would rule Starkiller out of the sequel. Fortunately for Darth Vader (and fans), cloning technology lets him circumvent the rules of mortality and get right back to being a badass.

After being revived, Starkiller bails on Vader, who wants to clone Starkiller (again?) to make the ultimate Sith warrior. It seems Starkiller has a thing for Juno Eclipse, and he’d rather spend time with her than fling wookiees out of trees. While you wait to play the game, check out the game’s official website, which lets you see what it’s like to be in a cloning tank. (Hint: It’s wet and bubbly.) Be sure to check out the console on the right side of the tank and solve a few puzzles to view clips from the first game. (Real hint: Use the spacebar.)

Per the official Facebook page, Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II will launch on October 26, 2010. The game is more than likely about wrecking dudes with lightsabers and Force powers -- and aside from whiny teenagers, what else is Star Wars really about?

The good news is that The Force Unleashed II doesn't have a stupid subtitle screwing up its name. The bad news is that the apprentice returns, and is still named Starkiller. Who thought this was a good idea?

We'll be sure to come back at you with more news and details on The Force Unleashed II as they become available. In the meantime, salivate over the thought of how much more havoc you'll be able to wreak when wielding two lightsabers instead of a measly one.
