WELCOME TO THE LORD OF THE RINGS MAFIA – THE ONE RING

THE RULES

 

1. You SHALL NOT Edit Posts, a modkill could result.

 

2. No Talking outside the thread unless your PM states it.

 

3. I will put a time up when the day phase or night phase will finish, if you miss the deadline, then that is tough!

 

4. The Mod can add any rules she may wish, when she wishes.

 

5. Votes are to be glowed in [glow=red,2,300]red[/glow] for the Lynch, for anything else then glowed in [glow=blue,2,300]blue[/glow]. Votes must also be unvoted before you can vote again.

 

6. If you have any questions especially about roles, then please PM me and not put it in the game thread.

 

7. No Quoting or paraphrasing a PM from the MOD.

 

8. You CANNOT reveal your CHARACTER. However you can reveal your role, should you wish to do so.

 

The Game

 

 

The Setting. This is set in Middle Earth. It will flow parts of the books and the films. Any Day play that may require a vote, will not rely on the film, nor the books for the right answer. It’s completely made up. As with anything like this this maybe based on LotR but poetic licence has been used ;)

The Roles have been tweeked to fit the characters in places, but they follow the basic rules. I will tell you now, that there are no recruiting roles. In this game is The One Ring. It can help you or deceive you at the last minute. You will be informed should you find it and if you also lose it.

 

 

 

THE SHIRE.

 

The Ring must be found and taken into the heart of Mordor and thrown into the heart of Mount Doom to be destroyed.

 

You have been chosen to search for the One Ring and destroy it. You have to prevent it from falling into the hands of those who wish to wield it’s power for evil.

As you prepare to leave you receive news that their maybe traitors amongst you. How powerful, you have no idea. But time is running short. There is no time to sort out who they can be. You have to begin this journey now, if it to succeed.

 

You take your last gulp of your beer in The Green Dragon and head for the door. With dutch courage in your belly you join those who you will be spending the journey with. They don’t look like they could be traitors, part of you doesn’t want to believe it and yet you know it to be true.

 

At the word you begin to head out of Hobbiton and set out on the East Road. As you glance around the peaceful Shire, you see the looks of the local Hobbits. They eye you suspiciously; you have brought this to their peaceful home.

 

Soon you know you will be out of the Shire and that there are things and creatures that aren’t as friendly as those at the Green Dragon.

 

The Journey begins. It is Day 1 you must lynch someone by the end of the day or who will say what will happen!

This bandwagon is forming way too fast on Al Jenn.  While I can see why there is reason to, there are a couple others pinging big time already. 

 

Namely, ed2funny!  Why WOULDN'T you vote for me if someone already did...unless you were trying to act innocent and NOT jump on the Mynd bandwagon?  Only mafia are that concerned with how they look when voting.

 

Let's be honest, I am blessed and cursed by this supposed notorious reputation I have earned for myself.  The mafia will want to slant the lynch my way on Day 1 to get rid of me, but they don't want to make it look like a bandwagon. Innocents will be wary of me, but only the mafia know for sure that I am innocent.

 

Hence...I think [glow=red,2,300]ed2funny[/glow] is our first mafia!  Make sense?
