Me neither!  Sanderson's efforts to make fans LESS hyped up about it have had the opposite effect on me. :D

I'm still only like 1/3 the way through them, but some of them are hilarious! :D

*giggles* Yeah, I was following him on Twitter when he ran the competition for fake reviews of Way of Kings. He got the idea from all of the people on Amazon who had posted fake reviews!

Aw, just got to the end.  They were good though. :D

I actually came across it by accident when I typed "Hoid" into the search bar at his site. :D

I know nothing of Hoid except a couple things which is why I looked him up.  In Mistborn he was a beggar that Vin had an off feeling about and flat out avoided and was apparently some sort of beggar in Elantris too. (which I have yet to read)  However, I also know that Brandon wanted to bring him in in Suvudu to help Rand....

Oh okay, well it's good for writers, not sure if you are one.

All of Brandon's personal books are part of a larger mythos. Like planets in the same galaxy, and an over-arching drama. Think scope as in God vs. the Devil, but more with multiple incredible "deities". I'm sure I'm not explaining it well. Hoid I *believe* but would need to double check on, shows up in every book. Or if not in every book, then at least once in a series. He can somehow travel between these planets. The over-arching drama relates directly to the events in the novels, though of course you don't need to know it in order to enjoy them. I have an insatiable curiosity though, so it all interests me >.> I found out about this on the Time-Waster's Guide forums that are Brandon's and his friends.

I do do some writing, though I highly doubt I'll ever publish or anything.  I just do it for fun.

Well, he was in just one sentence in the whole Mistborn series. :D  (Blasted Vin, refusing to even go near him :D)

He was?  As in, one of the of 3 books in the trilogy?  (I don't think Brandon's written more material on Mistborn, but I may be wrong)

Yes, Brandon mentioned somewhere that he appears again in subsequent novels in the Mistborn series. Though I think what I've read was people speculating on where.

Ah, now I see.  I can't believe I didn't recognize his name in the first book.

Saw him in Warbreaker, but I don't think he's in Alcatraz...or at least the first one.
