the number of Aes Sedai

do we know Aproxamintly how many Aes Sedai are there (before TGS)?

 

I know that after the troubles, it was mentioned that the tower split itself roughtly in 1/3. 1/3 for elida, 1/3 in salidar and 1/3 holding itself aside. I only mention that so if there was a number mentioned in any of the groups then we could estimate from that. Trying to do some calculations here (post TGS).
