I end alot of my sentences with parentheses, (though i'm honestly not sure why)

When you end a sentence with () does the period go inside or outside them?

Is this correct, (if you know what I mean).

or

Is this correct, (if you know what I mean.)

OH. I know I said one but I thought of another that always bugs me ... When you use the contraction for 'I am'' in mid-sentence, do you capitalize the 'i'?

You know, i'm curious about it.

Pretty sure that all punctuation should be placed so that the sentence would read correctly with or without the parentheses. So your sentence would be:

Is this correct (if you know what I mean)?

Note that if you cut the parentheses altogether, the sentence is still punctuated correctly.
