Locke - What Christian artists do you typically listen to?

Newsboys are good, if a little too blatant for my current taste.  Switchfoot is one of my favorites, Jon Foreman is brilliant.  Reliant K is good, and I absolutely love Toby Mac.  I don't listen to the others.

I absolutely LOVE Newsboys.  Know that Phil Joel and Peter Furler have left though, I don't really care for any new CD's they'll make.  I agree about Switchfoot and the others.

I really like their older stuff.  Joy is one of my favorite cds of theirs

I've heard all of those groups except Matt Karney.

 

I'm not a huge fan of Newsboys though.  Relient K was awesome in concert, and right before TobyMac too!! TobyMac is awesome and I cannot wait for the new album...and it doesn't come out until February :(

Mat Karney is a solo artist and a very good one.  I love his music and his latest CS is my favorite yet.

Are you a fan of DC Talk at all, or is that too far in the past? Or Michael W. Smith? I know my dad's big on Stryper too, so I've heard some of their stuff. And Carman, he's pretty good too!

I've listened to a little DC Talk, but not extensively.  We have a lot Michael W. Smith CDs so I know most of his songs.  I haven't heard of those other two bands.

Here's one of my favorite's that Carman did.  Ironically, he did this song with DC Talk.  Of course, the audio on it isn't the best but still, it's a great song!

yeah...i'm not a big fan of either christian or country music. im more into rock, metal, and classical.

I'm open to other genres...everything but country that is, I usually cannot stand country *shudders*

I don't like popular music so much..... anything on Z-93 that is.

There's a lot of stuff that I won't listen to on a regular basis, but I'll let others listen to it if that's what they want to listen to, I have no qualms with that, but I still love to listen to my contemporary Christian music, and my amazing soundtracks!
